Hi John!!! Had no idea about this one..... and cool to see they're still putting aout new music and a double record, that's tough because in most cases this double albums have fillers. They have a cool sound not to grungy or alternative. cheers and be well
John! I didn't even know they had a new album! I like a lot of their songs. I'll have to check it out. I forgot about them as well! 😂 Thanks, John! Cheers! 🤘🏼🍻
4:04 Ed is using a flow similar to "Paradise by the Dashboard Light". The flow is similar to the female vocalist singing "Ain't no doubt about it", which opens verse 2.
Its funny you mention Soul Asylum in the 2nd wave of later 90's alternative bands when they started as a punk band in 81. But i Love Collective Soul as well. They rarely disappoint.
@jcrockandmetalreviews I figured ya may. But yeah, Grave Dancers Union is still a stealler album til this day. Even their later work....is pretty solid. Between Dave and Ed.....two of my favorite songwriters of all time.
I've gotta admit, as a big Collective Soul fan who buys everything they put out, this one didn't do it for me. There are only two Collective Soul albums I would consider kinda "bad" and this is one of them. (Disciplined Breakdown is the other)
Not the same sound just like Tom Petty. The video to Mothers Love was their first good quality video since afterwards. It’s a good album but the old stuff is better
I know it's not exactly the same. it's just what it reminded me of, but I think the first few albums are better. I think this one is much better than the one they released in 2022.
I Love the Album!!! They did it their way!!!
Yes, I agree.

Yeah, I didn't know that it was coming out until I saw it listed on Friday.
Agreed about Mother’s Love..it is a great song. Sounds like a song that could’ve been on the 1995 self titled album
Yes I was surprised at how a good that one was

Yeah, I was not anticipating this. I think they announced it not too long ago.
This is a pretty good album!
Yeah, better than I was expecting.

Neither did I. I just saw it come up.

Yes I know. I just said that because I remember they had a few hits in the mid-90s with Runaway train and a few others

I do like the music on Here To Eternity.... Blood album is also good
Yes I was surprised at how good it was
@@jcrockandmetalreviews hopefully it charts
I like some of the songs, and I wish the mix was better and louder. Sounds muddy compared to the previous mixes. Put on headphones and compare.
Thanks I'll give it another listen to see what you mean
Solid album. Let it Flow is the best track.
Yeah, I was surprised at how good it was
Great album. Therapy is the best song on there
Yes, I was surprised how good this was.
🤘🌎❤️
Thanks

I can understand that. I have only listened to their first two albums and the 2 most recent ones.
@@jcrockandmetalreviews I HIGHLY Recommend "Dosage", "Blender", "Youth" and "Blood"
