As a bisexual woman, women like Cara affect me because they feed into the negative stereotypes of bisexuality - attention seeking, no-boundary, sexually aggressive behaviour that is somehow applauded as if the majority of us want that, or want that to be applauded, or enjoy that double standard. Cara may be a human being, not a bisexual representative by professional title, but she chose to be a public figure and be openly sexually aggressive uninvitedly, so that means we get the right to be affected and hold her accountable.

For everyone who doesn’t understand the issue with Nepo babies denying how their privilege started their careers… It’s what about what it does to society. Let’s be real, there is no way Nepo babies are ever going to stop existing. That’s completely unrealistic. And the topic of my comment isn’t even on if it’s fair/right/wrong etc. I’m specifically talking about Nepo babies acknowledging or denying their circumstances and why it’s damaging.
There are huge gaps in society when it comes to class, wealth and privilege. It is the reality of our world and it needs to be acknowledged on a basic level for society to evolve more for the better. It projects a false sense of reality to deny that your privilege is what initially *Initially* got you your start-and a major head start beyond others. It clearly allows them to cut out large phases of work in these types of careers. Like all of the necessary networking it takes to get a break. Nepo babies get to cut in line essentially ahead of others who have been waiting in line for far longer and hustling. The problem with denying reality in these ways is that it’s damaging to society and it has consequences.
The biggest consequence of nepotism babies so blatantly denying the huge benefits of the connections they were born into (and how it kickstarted their careers with less work compared to others born without those connections).. the biggest consequence of this is that it supports and enables the upper/privileged class into believing that the reasons others have not made it to that level are because they didn’t work hard enough/have enough talent to make it there as well. When more often the deciding factor and difference was the connections they were born into have given them an upper hand. But they clearly do not see it this way. And so the size of the gap is maintained and always will be. Because they will not acknowledge the reality that the playing field is not level, they’ll never understand the basic struggles people in different walks of life have to deal with. And I’m not just talking about models/actors/celebrities. Nepo babies exists in other fields. It’s a mindset problem that effects all of society throughout the world.

However, I don't discard any other comment no matter the form or content. And, well, I agree with every word you said. , in Spanish, spreads the fake believe that will and effort alone determine who keeps the money; that rich people counts with the same resources that anybody else; they are like us, just “lucky“, “successful“ and “beautiful“. Why would they not get away with anything suspicious they do?

@@ladilaty well.. yes.. but we can’t discount when someone Does work hard, no matter how they started. Some Nepo babies just do minimum work and use the name and connections they were born into to keep the lifestyle and stay in tbe circle. But other Nepo babies adopt a good work ethic and develops actual skills, which furthers their careers in an earned way.
All Nepo babies Should acknowledge how many of their opportunities are only possible because of their privilege, regardless of how hard they work. Separately, we should acknowledge when people work hard regardless of their beginnings. Of course if you disagree with what they put out into the world, that is also a valid and separate opinion.

Jason who's black, works with me in titles, so serious and professional and about as much fun as a turtle. Until two black guys he knew from college shows up for the reception. We couldn't believe he was the same guy. The three of them became the center of attention. Each having the older ladies giggling and dancing, everyone was in the mood.. When Jason starts using the hood language with the other two, it was a total scream. Next day at work he was his old self. He blamed his behavior on to much wine. We said we would get him another bottle but he just smiled sheepishly. Cara probably just gets way to carried away with all that black energy and thinks it covers for her bad behavior too.

But we have plenty of nepotism babies who acknowledged the fact and have proven themselves (sure they've got ahead because of their connections) that they have talents too. Then there are some who delude themselves that everything isn't handed to them and are so convinced they started with equal footing as someone at the bottom. And believe they're putting in the same effort while doing the bare minimum. Then there are those who go so far as to say how their names and connections are such a burden as they get offered jobs that should've gone to someone more suited and talented.

Hi Jay. This is the definition of Nepotism. Nepotism is not just rich people having children they allow to live under the same luxurious lifestyle as themselves, it specifically has to do with the stuff you mentioned you don't like. The stuff you mentioned that you said you don't like is the meaning of the word nepotism or what it is meant to mean. The people have their special family members in powerful and influential positions and then give other powerful roles and jobs to their own families and close associates, keeping out other people or outsiders.
"the practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs."

Cara's interaction with Megan comes off as an anxious person who is trying desperately to be friends with someone and doesn't really know how to be friendly in an organic way, but that might be because I'm an anxious person who sometimes struggles in social situations. That said, everything else she's done definitely deserves to be called out. Most of Hollywood's celebrities come from very rich, influential families. The ones who don't are definitely the exception, not the rule.
It's not okay what she's doing. I used to grab on my female friends in middle and highschool, but I was a child, and I certainly wasn't introducing myself to people that way. It was reciprocated and not a sexual thing, just a friendly thing. But it's something you need to grow out of. I don't know if what she's doing is specifically with black women, or if it's with everyone, but she comes off as highly sheltered rich white girl who never learned about boundaries. Because that's what she is.
The 90 seconds that went viral look like an anxious person trying to make friends, but the rest of it look like someone sho doesn't know boundaries.

I agree, up until the point where addiction becomes an excuse to behave badly. "Wow, sorry, I got too f'd up, I guess" only flies so many times before people decide that you're either out of control, or that you're just kind of a weirdo, and HAVE control but choose to use it in the wrong way..

I think the thing that makes her problematic is her lack of respecting people’s personal space and touching them inappropriately without consent but wtv

@Blueberry B OP made a good point but of course people like you have to ruin it.
Why do people think not liking someone has to do with jealousy? Making a complex situation so stupidly simple by just doing things like that. It seems like people feel women can’t give real criticism unless it has to do with jealousy. Like get out with your ignorance.

At that time Kendall was new to the game and Cara had already won two model of the year awards… Cara definitely didn’t need to use Kendal 🤣

Omgggg, the eyebrow comments though! I feel the same way, Keisha. I’m starting to finally just be comfortable with my natural brows. I used to overly pencil them in and I have a heavy hand so, they’d come out so thick lol now that I rock my natural brows with just a little brown brow gel or a light hand with a brown pencil - people are like “OMG THEY LOOK SO GOOD YOU SHOULD ALWAYS LEAVE THEM MORE NATURAL LIKE THAT.” I’m like damn, they right 🤷🏽‍♀️ buuuuut I can still make them thick if I want to with makeup. Okay, I’m done with my brow ramble.
Also, stfu lmaoooo about the lip gloss comment too. I hate when people don’t tell me about the stuff in the corners of my mouth like y’all just want me looking crazy out here huh??? 🧐

tbh i think people are just embracing their natural brows nowadays. i tend to go heavy on my brows too, but i’ve actually been into thinner & natural brows lately

Kanye put Kendall on with regards her modelling. No one took kendall seriously as a model until Kanye used his connections with givenchy, balmain etc. The industry saw her as a reality tv star and that was it.

I 100% agree with your comment on Nepotism babies. A lot of people like acting as if they wouldn't take advantage of their parent's wealth, because they didn't work for it. The reality of the situation is that a lot of parents work really hard to give their children the good life that they couldn't have. I know that I'd be taking advantage of every opportunity given to me through connections🤷🏽‍♂️

Not surprised about the coke aaat all. Models in the 90’s and 00’s were “encouraged” to use it (and still are unfortunately) by their companies because it “makes them energetic and keeps them skinny”. The Dolce and Gabbana shows’ after parties were rumored to have “white mountains”. So unhealthy and scary.

This video was a breath of fresh air. I love drama videos but I freaking hate this new walking on eggshells bullshit, I also hate the overly accusatory “CANCEL HER!!!” mindset. You are exactly where you need to be, genuinely providing benefit of the doubt while also calling weird behavior when you see it. I’m subbing. Thanks ✨
