    BOOK A LIGHTHOUSE MENTOR
    Are you or someone you know doubting Islam? Do you find yourself struggling to find answers? Do you have a hard time speaking to someone about Islam? Are you considering Islam but are unsure about certain concepts? Are you an activist, Imam or community leader who is unsure about how to handle questions related to science, philosophy, the Islamic moral code, etc.?
    You are not alone. Over the course of the last decade or more there has been a rapid proliferation of content online and in academic institutions that has eroded the faith of some people.
    Seeing the rise of this phenomenon , Sapience Institute is introducing a One to One mentoring service called LIGHTHOUSE.

      - If there are two gods than one will dominate each other (Quran 23:91)
      - Since everything needs space and time, who is maintaining space and time? - Contingency argument simplified

    I’m keeping my faith even more because my heart aches. I know God loves me and will provide. Please pray for me. Prayers are all I need! My sons father died three years ago so I am a single mother. I’m not complaining but it’s not easy. I have no family nor friends. I’m struggling to provide for my boys since losing my job for declining the vaccine. My health is poor hence why I declined, Lupus, stents in heart. Im on a bunch of medications. Please keep me in your prayers. Both of my sons are autistic so they tend to be a little more challenging for me. I have been made fun of and laughed at over my situation and called horrible names. I’ve had youtubers call my landlord and harass her making her want to kick me and my children out. Not only is that creepy especially because I’m a single women but it’s also out of line. I’m so discouraged. But I’m keeping faith. I know God will provide and carry me through this hard time. I have Faith! Thank you Jesus!

    39:29 I think i have a much stronger argument:
    Suppose that we have ultimate will 1 and ultimate will 2 call it uw1 and uw2 respectively we have 2 cases:
    1) uw1#uw2 (# means different)
    2)uw1=uw2 (= means exact same)
    Suppose 2) then we are already done. Since there cannot be any differentiating factor. And uw1=uw2 that the 2 ultimate entities are actually the same entity therefore there is really 1 ultimate entity. I can give an example of the absurdity of the negation of my statement: Negating my statement is very much saying that rock is actually 2 rocks but they have the exact same properties. Which is absurd.
    now suppose 1) That this means that whatever uw1 willed will happen and whatever uw2 willed will happen.
    a) If the thing they willed is about the same contingent existence then that contingent existence is itself and not itself ( for example uw1 willed the rock to be solid and uw2 willed the rock to be liquid than the rock is solid and liquid which makes it a contradiction)
    b) if the thing they willed are about different contingent existence aka they "work" synchronised. Then:
    b-I)uw1 did not will a thing to happen therefore it wont happen that uw2 willed it to happen so it will happen therefore that thing that uw2 willed is in both existence and in unexistence which is a contradiction
    b-II) uw1 and uw2 agreed that the respective thing unwilled by the corresponding ultimate will, will be existing by the will of the other corresponding ultimate will
    So basically they willed what they didn't will to happen which is a contradiction. I hope someone understands what i said.

    The best take is that we are prisoners of language ان هي الا اسماء سميتموهاانتم و اباءكم ما انزل الله بها من سلطن language is an immense collection of signifiers bringing about non-identity. The produced object is thought materialised and it retroactively constitute the imaginary character of the subject. Hence when Quran says يوم يكشف عن ساق it involves a constitutive inadequacy, misrepresentation of the inner in the outer, which should inaugurate alienated subjectivity that would do more than just interpret the world

    May Allah bless Mohammed Hijab. I have one question you said in the previous video that Allah’s knowledge and will are necessary (meaning everything is done by these necessary attributes cannot be other way around) the universe is made by Allah with these attributes. But in the proof 2 you said anything can be rearranged is contingent (depent) things.
    Question, if Allah made the universe with His necessary attributes, so universe could not have been in another way. Does it contradict the proof 2 you provide?

    • @Ahle.haq0
      @Ahle.haq0 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes the universe could not have been in another way shape or form but that is because we are referencing God in our belief. The universe still remains contingent as it is rationally rearrangeable but out of the trillions of possible combinations God chose this specific ones based on his absolute knowledge and wisdom. The atheist cannot say that the universe couldn't have been in another way as he does not have a necessary being to reference but we do

      @@markorbit4752 A necessary being can't be anything but Allah. That's the whole gimmick you do not understand. Because a necessary being has certain attributes we can deduce rationally, Ever-Lasting, Omnipotence, Omniscience, First, One and Only etc ... and those are exactly the attributes of the God we worship. You wanna call it Allah as He call Himself in his revelation, good. Wanna call him God, Dieu, Gott, Elohim, Allaha, YHWH, the concept remains the same. Unfortunately for our christian friends, the trinitarian belief is in direct confrontation to rational thinking, hence why they disagree with using the word Allah. If you go to unitarian arabophone christians, they have no qualms using this nomination.

    • @Ersilay
      @Ersilay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@markorbit4752 No. Because you are assuming the logical path we take to rationaly deduce the existence of God is us presuposing a God with certain qualities and inducing a path from that perspective. If you saw the video we're currently commenting on, it's the opposite. If Mohammed Hijab was doing what you're saying, we would have given all 99 names/attributes of God and tried to rationalise it, but he didn't, and we can't.

    • @Ersilay
      @Ersilay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@markorbit4752 What you're missing I believe is understanding of the meaning of necessary. Necessary is a quality which entails certain attributes, and other attributes can be deduced from those attributes as derivative reasoning.
      Necessary = unchanging. If something was changing, it wouldn't be necessary as it would entail what depends upon it doesn't require it in its entirety to be necessary.
      If it's unchanging, then it must be eternal, pre- and post-existing. Because otherwise the state of such entity would have changed, from non-existent to existent or other various ways.
      Since such entity was always existing, everything that happens have a relation to it (i.e. first cause). It must thus be endowed with omnipotence as It brings rise to all phenomenas. Likewise, it must be Omniscient because every phenomena rose from him in the first place, and all knowledge must come from It.
      It can only be One, because otherwise it would contradict the last 2 attributes, i.e. over all things capable and over all things knowledgeable. If there were two Omnipotent, what if one decided for the other to cease to exist and the other wanted to remain existing? It would be a paradox with no answer.
      It must have a will to bring rise to phenomenas, otherwise no matter how many attributes this entity has, it will never act upon them, never bringing rise to anything, contradicting the current reality.
      Tell me where I superimposed islamic beliefs? I am merely deducing things rationally.
      If I was, I'd be arguing for a Just entity, or a loving one, but I can't. I can only understand this aspect through the Entity itself, I can not rationally deduce it. But the basics of the Entity are already laid down, and since there can only be One, once such Entity appear, we as humans can identify easily if It is the necessary being or not by applying what we can rationally deduce. If the boxes are ticked, then everything coming from such Entity must be True because It could very well not communicate at all. If It communicate in the first place, it can not be for It's own sake because It only is necessary, thus unchangeable and does not require depending existences to Be, change, cease to exist to remain the same.
      We can go on and on, and this from an axiomatic level, which is purely deductible and rational.
      Now tell me again, where exactly is the problem in my reasoning?
