I think playing as the ninja is more accurate to the Creed than a samurai because it's all about sticking to the shadows rather than going and attacking out in the open.

@gsst6389 I know what you mean but those games did have some stealth elements to it, but the samurai in this doesn't show that. He's just going around whacking people with a huge clubber.
@@beamyolive7094 in ac 3 the only efficiense way to get troght the game was troght open firld combat 💀 there was no stelth on that game/ the stealth was barely usable. Similar goes with the British dude also

I'll never understand the problem with Yasuke the people have with him. He was actually a historical figure in japan at the time and basically immersed into its culture. Granted he wasn't like this in game but he was still a real person. I even heard from some Japanese people that they had no problems with him being in the game since they learn about him in school. And they are not even gonna force us to play as him since we get the option to be a native, japan born Female ninja.

combat is very rigid, while the movements are smooth, they need to work harder if they want to put the good spice into the game

They messed up the ninja's running speed though. She's about the same speed all the previous protagonists. They should have made her quick like the ninja in Tenchu Z. Or the one in Shinobido.

I'm actually playing ac origins now and I must say. The graphic of this game don't look that much betterm sure it's hi res. But what's up with all the jittering animations on cloth and such. The quality doesn't look that good for a so called next gen

I can see this game by next year being included in youtube videos,titled "top 10 games that chose graphics over game play",this game is an eye candy for sure,but i feel like thats all there is.
Im just not feeling pretty much playing as a brute. I just like faster combat over strength. Unless they can make it that he has some faster move sets while having a sword out it donesnt look convincing

Why Ubisoft dont combine between Samurai and Shinobi (Ninja) in one gameplay, it will be amazing, like they are already makes Tenchu in 2000's, i would love to wait for that as a fan of Tenchu for years.
samurai could have social stealth elements as he can blend between enemy ranks, but calling himself a shadow is an overstatement, as he is so slow and heavy

ghost of tsushima was good... but the world felt very very empty. AC games are great at making cities and interesting locations. Despite the controversy, I'm looking forward to exploring the world in this.

We need an assassin game set on japan.. Not a samura game which has elements of assassins set in japan!
The entire game engine feela like it's designed specifically for Naoe only. The new movements, the parkour, weapons, animations all feela new and fluid. Yasuke somehow feels like inserted later and most of the combat and animation is ripped from valhalla, even the unnecessary annoying jerky camera movements during combat. It feels like a last-minute decision to inject a rampaging samurai into the game.

Do you know this game is telling the wrong history of Japan? This is like Japanese game never historical game. The biggest misunderstanding is Yasuke was not samurai. A lot of visual misunderstandings of Japanese history is beyond the comprehension.
Too bad the false information has spread out too much in the western country.
I love the polar opposite differences in gameplay between Naoe and Yasuke .... I will enjoy playing as both. I already played at Yasuke in Samurai Warriors 5 and Nioh 2 and look forward to playing as him again in this along with Naoe.

Every single open combat in assassin’s creed has always been lack luster and boring and this looks no different. it looks like though that they improved the stealth combat and the options to go about stealth

I think moving forward Ubisoft needs to implement character creation so you can pick anyone you want to be in AC games along with different traits, like dark souls and starfield.
Game looks pretty good in a work in progress, but just giving you two choices to pick between samurai and shinobi 🤔. Ubisoft you need more variety in characters including creation.
