Such an in-depth, candid interview! Rabia, your interviewing skills are superb, and Atiqa Odho was also willing to share her experiences. She was excellent in Pyar ke Sadqay because that was a meaty challenging role that required an experienced actress. It's unfortunate that our producers/directors don't make good use of these experienced actresses but waste them in typical motherly roles.
Just one kind advice for Rabia, you kept on asking about her divorces so many times, although we can clearly see that she wasn’t comfortable talking about it initially and dodged the question a few times. Don’t force the same personal question multiple times if the person is not comfortable about it. 🙃
I don't think so. Im happy that she asked. Agar kisi ki koi esi baat he jis se ham seekh sakhte hen us se seekhna chaye. Atiqa is a very open person. She didn't have any problem in talking about things and we learnt alot. Alot of people are goimg through difficult times and they nees to look up to someone. I think we should regressing ourself about divorce or other social taboos.

As a Muslim woman who has lived very honestly in my life and a single mother for years I salute Atiqa Ji because she has shown more courage and honesty in handling her life and children with more strength than I did…. Much as I wanted to I fell trap to the “social pressures” of “ loves your son” and have compromised greatly as per my personal values…… guess this is the biggest difference of the Sarhad.
