Growing up in Canada, I remember my mother used to get dramas on vhs cassettes from the neighborhood’s Pakistani grocery store. Each cassette would be a 1$ and a whole drama would be recorded on several cassettes. I can clearly recall when, as a 9 years old, I first saw Sania jee in Aahat; I was mesmerized by her grace and effortless acting. She seemed so real and even at that young age I felt the depth and grief of the character she played. She’s my all time favourite! 💗 💕
