We are flat broke. I’ll be getting creative with what is in my pantry. No meat in freezer. In a brighter side, all bills are paid for the month of November. Thank you for all of the recipes especially the 5.00 ones.

Quinoa is cheap, somewhere around the price of bagged rice or other bagged beans. It's these tiny seed things. They got protein and fiber in them. So it's great to mix into ground meats to make them stretch. So where I would have cooked a pound of beef, I do half a pound, and on the side cook up like a quarter cup quinoa (it expands) and mix it into the meat. So for pasta with meats or Sloppy Joe's, it can really help make meats last an extra meal. Only ground meats tho from what I've tested. And I don't think it has a strong flavor, at least in a sauce, so I don't really notice it's there.
@samantharowell9733 I was gonna say this i never thought of quinoa, but I used to put oats in mine meat to make it stretch. Especially when making things like stuffed peppers or meatloaf, also, eggs are good protein that you can make meat stretch with too!
I'm sorry you're going through that Mama times have been really hard lately. I know that exact feeling where you're like. Well the bills are paid, but we're eating peanut butter and jelly and Mac and cheese LOL. Everything is SO high. Especially with food every time I go to the grocery store. I can't believe how much it cost. 2 bags of groceries $,80. It's just insane.
I really enjoyed this video. I am a nurse and get up at 5 am, home at 6pm. I am always sooo exhausted and can't stand to cook. Alot of this would be doable. And my son would like these. TY.
I remember those days and you get sick of crock pot meals. There's only so many things you can make in a crockpot before they all start tasting the same LOL.
Yum to all! Take a bag of those burritos, still frozen, put in a casserole dish, top with a can or 2 of enchilada sauce and a bag of fiesta shredded cheese. Yum!!
I do this but I use 5x7 pans with 2 burritos per pan, add sauce and foil over the top. One for tonight and 3 for the freezer. Very easy freezer meals for one. (Oh yeah, add cheese on "cook night" LOL
Great ideas ! Canadian here :) i love that you only pay $6 for a cooked chicken. Amazing! Ours is doubled I've never seen sweet potato taters..they must be so good. You know you've done well when the kids like your food 👍❤
Just a quick tip I managed an arby's in Indianapolis The arby's sauce and the red sauce that they use on the beef and cheddar are different The red sauce on the beef and cheddar is actually Kraft Catalina French dressing but you did get the right cheese
My parents used to make roast beef sandwiches with a packet of brown gravy and roast beef. The bolillos in my grocery store are 8 for $1 and huge so we'd usually split two. But just warm up the roast beef in the gravy and pile up on the bread with mayo lettuce and tomatoes. So quick but so yummy!
I got a rotisserie chicken for just over $3 at my Walmart, it was already chilled (cooked the day before) but could not believe how cheap it was! Brought it home & tore it apart & put it in my freezer! Thanks for all these easy recipes! I will be making some!!! I’m HOOKED on your cheeseburger casserole!!
OMG the Arby's Beef & Cheddar sliders are the best idea! For the adults, you can even get the "onion" rolls too at the store if you like those, what a great idea!
Ryder is sooo cool! And Brady is gonna be a judge on the food network nd Kylin is going to become an actor for the best faint ever! Thanks for sharing Brooke💚
Thank you so much for sharing!! I love new ideas. One I use to do a lot was frozen meat balls with a jar of brown gravy poured over it, good instant mashed potatoes, and frozen corn.
I can't get past $12 for a whole chicken 😵💫 we have local grocery stores that put them on sale for 0.88 a pound and that's when I go buy a few for the freezer. thankful to have options!
What a great video. I'm supposed to have surgery on the 20th and these meals will come in so handy. Thank you for sharing them my friend. Oh, and those shirts are so dang cute. I had to get one... or both lol...
Hey hey Brooke and family! Thanks for sharing these quick meal ideas, diffently will be trying them. Your family is so adorable love y'all and your channel ❤❤
Hubs and I were doing meal planning/grocery shopping tonight and we are going to try rueben sandwiches i may try the beef and cheddars. Im healing from surgeries so hubs is the cook. He does your quick enchiladas. I love how obviously your great relationships with all 3 of your boys shine through. Good job Brooke. I enjoy watching and now have my mom watching too❤
After you fry the burritos cut lengthwise then 3 times side to side. Put some can chili on top then shredded cheese, lettuce and tomato...OMG Deluxe burritos yummy
You and your family have such great energy together. I come back because I love watching all the love you pour out together. Being a Mom like this is the BEST!
Thanks so much Brooke. My son is on the road all week so it's just me and I have trouble standing in front of the stove for very long. I love quick and easy meals 😊
I've done something like your roast beef bagel bites...but I used full size bagels with ham and sliced cheese. Mustard as the condiment and if I have a slicing tomato after baking I add a slice of tomato. Soooo yummy and easy dinner With the frozen burritos I like to put them in a baking dish with a can of enchilada sauce and top with cheese the last 5 minutes in the oven (I bake for approx 35 - 45 min.)
Love this series of easy lazy dinners. Life is quite busy at times and we all need a break. Your boys are getting soo tall.. 😊 ❤. Kids just grow up right before your eyes.
You can top the burrito/chimichanga with a 'sauce' made from a can of mushroom soup, 7 oz can undrained diced green chilies, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin to taste until heated through, you can thin with some chicken or beef broth or water if needed. Put some sauce over chimichanga, top with a sprinkle with cheese, sour cream, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, etc. It's delicious.
I do the chicken tostada's but substituted the BBQ with some Ragu Marinera And top with the same cheese Italian seasoning and chopped olives. Try the the Arbys bagels with Catalina salad dressing instead of Arbys suace, very close to a Beef and Cheddar.
I came across your channel and was very intrigued. I made my family the bbq chicken tostadas with the veggie tray and it was a hit! We are trying the diy Arby’s roast beef sandwiches tonight. Thank you for sharing these delicious recipes with the rest of us
So it doesnt matter that it's the lemon pepper chicken? And you used the Italian blend cheese for a tex-mex meal? I love that it's anything goes and I dont have to worry so much over this and can just goes with what tastes good! Thank you for this! You are always so creative!

When I went to make these, I got two recipes confused and made the roast beef sandwiches on pretzel buns. My husband loved it!!
I use the skin and bones from rotisserie chicken and boil them to make chicken stock and then freeze it to use in dishes.
Me too:)
At our Walmart, if you buy a cold rotisserie chicken rather than a hot one, it is much cheaper. -Kryste
Sweet and wholesome. No politics. Just southern cooking.
I used to make tostadas with canned refried beans and then melt cheese on top, and add lettuce and tomatoes for a quick cheap dinner.
That's the way my grandkids love it that way with just beans and cheese
I make nachos like that minus lettuce and tomato.
Got to have the beans on it! :)
Oh yeah! My family loves this. And sour cream, cause I love sour cream lol
yeah i was horrified and offended by the amount of bbq sauce in this vid... Cute recipes ruined
Been there many times!! Best feeling in the word when bills are paid. Prayers.
I appreciate these easy meals. My kids are grown but I feel lazy after working 10 hour days and doing schoolwork. Thank you Thank you…
At my Walmart I got rotisserie chickens for $2 and some few cents and I bought seven of them brought home put them in my freezer
That’s an insanely great deal!!!
dang!! Where you llive?
Last one I bought was $7.00 in SC. 😮

How cute are the Arby's little bagel bites. ❤ Looks good.
Make this a series Brooke! I'm always looking for lazy dinners!!!😊

I was told it was Red Russian dressing.

I dehydrate my strawberry tops, they make a beautiful tea. Hugs and kisses to all. Stay safe. 💕

That little burnt part of the sweet potato puff is the BEST bite.

Girl, you make it in your home, it's homemade. Also, your drizzle is more like a slathering and I ❤ it.
I’ll definitely be making the chimichangas!
Your boys/young men are growing soooo fast, they are the cutest!
