    The african wild dog and cheetah are tied together as two of Africa's most successful apex predators regarding their hunting succes rate is high up to 60 to 90% of their hunts end up on a good kill, as the record shows and not to mention their top speed they reach up to 70miles/h and 43miles/h respectively.
    The differences between the cheetah and african wild dog is their speed and their hunting strategies.
    Cheetahs hunt alone through speed while african wild dogs hunt together in packs through stamina.

    Misinformation: Hyenas actually do more hunting than they do scavenging. Point of fact, lions can and often do rob them of their kills when they get the chance, which happens more than you might think.

    • @lizm251
      @lizm251 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I hate when people think hyena are just scavengers . Like these animals date back to prehistoric eras . Their jaw pressure over powers the lion! THEY OPPORTUNISTIC. Can’t hate the player if that’s how evolution played it

    • @marcchesley3731
      @marcchesley3731 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you must be confusing hyenas with wild dogs because hyenas are lazy they steal their food the majority of the time. They are the land buzzards, they let leopards lions and cheetahs do the killing and they muscle in as a pack and steal it. That is not misinformation they are more thieves than hunters. They can hunt but why hunt when you can steal it.

      @Tara_P_Rose ปีที่แล้ว +4

      There’s a reason they’re known as scavengers. Have you been to anywhere in Africa yourself & seen it? I live in South Africa & I’ve seen with my own eyes the way they will actually follow single lionesses so they can be around when they make their kill. They’re always the first ones on the scene when a lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog etc make a kill. Hanging around so they can get right in there. Most ppl that comment on here haven’t even seen it themselves so how do they know anything besides what they see & hear on videos? Go see for yourself before you comment on something.

    3420 and then the eagle isn't even thinking about the fact that the pollution in the water has the fish polluted so when it eats it and feeds it to its young it's getting a double whammy

      @@Leobynight lol a new gf won’t be happy just watching documentaries is what she means. Not respectful to make your new gf watch a mere documentary. Maybe a long term gf or someone you live with will watch movies or documentaries. But not a new relationship. Watching documentaries isn’t on top of the list of dating lol 😆

    Love these remnants of commercial pauses every 15 minutes .....To show what we miss if we would watch this on Uncle Sam's television , where we are reminded every 15 minutes that we are nothing more than money spending cattle . U.S. public didn't knew what hit them when they could watch uninterrupted television shows on TH-cam for the first time in their lives.
