    It was nice of Ron to stop by and help her build this shower enclosure. I like the design they used. Some nice add ons would have been a bench and dry area to hang clothes to change into when done.

    Ron,
    Although not planning to build an outdoor shower enclosure, the techniques and skills used on your video will be very helpful when I complete various repair projects around my home.
    In fact, for example, 2x4 brackets n post brackets reinforced idea to incorporate it in my huthouse repairs.
    Thanks again Ron for your invaluable DIY video !
    Looking forward to your next video. Also watch your TV program every Sundays.

    Hopefully Mine will get done before I go to Jamaica, The problem We cant used these kinda post due to Termite, in the Sandy bay area, I am considering using Metal zinc, for the walls I cant figure what to use for post, I could use concrete post but it will be too expensive. And how would I attach the metal to concrete🤔 it comes down again to wood. Hiss

    Assuming I already have the tools, how much, roughly, will all of these materials cost me if I build this same size?

    Ron,
    As a DIYer, i have few questions from watching your outside shower enclosure video. Why are there 5 instead of 4 posts? For added support? Also you mentioned concrete slab sloping towards the yard. Can you give more detail on how to adjust the post to that slope? Didn't fully understand it on your video.
    Thanks.

      There are 5 posts since the fence doesn't cover that concrete block column where the shower head and valves are.

    In what year was all that lumber and screws only $165?! I bet I’d spent at least $300 on that much lumber today.

      Even more than that now! Just the 4 posts will cost you $100 now. It's pathetic what that industry is doing to consumers.

    don't try this one at home.
    needs a gray water drain. dry-well. good luck getting that to pass inspection anywhere but in hillbilly heaven

    • @Saxshoe
      @Saxshoe 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It seems this only deals with pre-existing outdoor showers that require enclosures. Besides, towns that might need outdoor showers probably streamline the codes and inspection for the sake of ubiquity.

    • @morrisw7227
      @morrisw7227 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That would be like adding a grey water drain for your children's Slip-and-Slide. Most showers are added in out of citylimits beach/bay houses, no inspection required!
