Now it's very easy. But during the first release there was sunshroom instead of primal sunflower and there was no boom flower in the middle then it was not easy at all it was very difficult. So primal sunflower and boom flower have been given in the next update to reduce the pain.
Not to mention Elder Hailstorm's health is probably reduced too. That's why i felt so easy to beat him in the nerfed version comparing to the pain i had when dealing with him in the original version and i was not even using any plant food on him in the nerfed version.
