I have a 08 single cab Silverado running 3 10’s and 1 12 all jl audio and a 3000 watt audiopipe amp all 0 gauge. my alternator does fine does drop voltage but been doing fine past 2 years. Nice system man
You should get a big 3 upgrade and an extra battery in there and u will be fine. I havent got any alternator yet but my big 3 and that extra battery helps prevents the draining of your other battery. Also agm batterys is the way to go.

nice, but I see you doing it on a budget, I took my alternator to a shop that works on electrical stuff, and had it rebuilt and had them up grade the stock alternator, it cost about 63 bucks but it beats spending 500 stinger alternator

To all people with a single cab truck Yes, It will blow your speakers if your seat is to far back touching the speakers. I just had to replace mine for that reason. Get a grill cover for the speakers it might be the difference in having to replace your subs.
Have you had any issues with your power running beside the rest of your wires? I saw you taped everything else up that's why I was asking, also do you have a capacitor? And last thing try checking all your factory grounds on the truck you might have some corroded just a thought i have ran into that issue once apon a time, changed my alt, changed my battery like 3 times and then finally just got mad and traced all the grounds and some needed to be cleaned and I used no loc and bolted everything back and it worked great no loc is used in electrical stuff to keep it from getting corrosion on it.. just a thought

nvx has great products especially those VCW series subs. I have a feeling they are getting clipped to death though and those hifonics amps take a lot of juice. Great subs though. Try to get it properly tuned hit somebody up that has a SMD dd1 or a shop that can do it for u.

Go with 4-6-½'s unless you have a Dodge. Then, go with 4- 8's. Over 5 cubes behind the seat. 4 cubes after speaker and port.
