i totally agree with how a messy room reflects mentality -- but for me also: how well-maintained my plants are reflects my mental state, so i try my best to keep my room tidy and my plants up-to-date with their care. there will be days that they suffer T-T but it's okay because they eventually get back up whenever i get the courage to do so for myself too. surrounding ourselves with a nice environment really helps us perceive life more joyfully and treat it with more love and care
