Back in the old days when police still used analog radio without encryption I used to have a police radio and I did hear on the police band they asking for the data on the car I was driving... No idea why they did that and they did not stop me, just checked the data and this was in a small town with 6000 people only in it where I had lived my entire life until then.

I live in the states and for the most part, as long as you have certain tires you can ride street or dirt but it has to be registered and have mirrors. Thats for the law anyway, most people dont do that and just use dirtbikes for the desert around. Some nice areas to ride
If you don’t have blinkers you have to hand signal, you need break lights, I’m not sure about anything else but it really isn’t hard or uncommon to register one!

Dirt bikes and police = police see you as a lunatic criminal at least here in Norway, many times I have been followed and several times stopped by police that accused me for riding recklessly and to fast when I was just cruising slowly with my geared down 450ccm supermotard... (think it must be that thumper braaaap braaap that drive them crazy lol ;) )

I remember getting chased by a lovely policeman, back in the early 90's. I was caught doing 211 km/h on a 110 km/h highway. Once I told him a was a Main Battle Tank driver, and it would completely ruin my career, he booked me for a 128 km/h infringement. That was the maximum fine, without a disqualification, back then. Absolute LEGEND!

When I was young, I got clocked at 115 in a 55 on an rc51. 550$ ticket because I pulled over instead of jail or bike confiscated, after that I quit speeding, and everyone insults me for driving slow. But I never got any more speeding tickets.

Running away from the police can get you in trouble. Even in Europe but especially in the US. Sentence to a few years in jail is really not worth it.

First clip is wrong. You can still get in trouble depending on the woods you ride in. You usually can only LEGALLY ride on tracks.

i live in norway, if you get stopped on a dirtbike they won't let you take the liscense to a car or a motorcycle in many years later then normal. they also inpound your dirtbike. really shitty laws
yea its crazy, feel sorry for you guys. I'was caught speeding with a car over there, doing 34km/h over the 60 limit (somewhere between Moss and Ørje), they took away my licence immediately (although they let me drive out of the country), got a fine for 1500€ and licence was taken away for 8 months and i wasnt allowed into the country for 1 year

No, it's definitely keeping people safe. For guys like that at the end going over 125+ per hour its insanely reckless. If he crashes into another biker or a deer, or a car there's no way he'll survive that. The whole point of a ticket is to DIS-ENCOURAGE the driver from making dumb mistakes like the again and to not lose money. Like he ended up getting. So yes, it's for sure keeping people safe.

I have had many problems with the cops in my neighborhood though my neighbors don't mind. But since im only 14 i don't come up in the system. I only ride on the road to test drive something or just down the street to a abandon railroad. I get why they have a problem but nobody is ever around but they tend to be a ass about it
