We've had a little bit of experience building in the US, but now it's time to get some building experience IN EUROPE! Today we will be working on pouring a concrete slab in France, and things are not as easy as we thought they would be... Good morning 🌅, I no it is to late, there is a company called Belle that makes a very nice concrete mixer, and the good thing about them is that the body itself comes off the stand so it will fit into a very small vehicle, and they rained around about £300. I’ve just tried to look to see whether they are available in Europe but I cannot find them yet., hope this helps somebody, from France

Good morning 🌅, great job guys, opposite somewhere location there is peacocks, 🦚 or something similar, Many years ago, I used to live in a place in the UK and there was a manor house that used to have a few wandering around in the estate and they will come out onto the road and Walk around as if they own the place, Anyway, great job, From old English dude living in France,

Finally! European way of building! And in correct units :D Feels almost like at home - we also have Castorama, Leroy and Brico in Poland hehe.
As for the truck with crane in Poland we call this HDS (stands for Hydrauliczny Dźwig Samochodowy or something like Hudraulic Vehicle Crane) and Wiki tells me in english it's called "Knuckle boom crane" and I'm very surprised that the article about it is only available in 3 languages. Strange as you can find it all over the place here and pretty sure everywhere in Europe.
Nothing really unique there - for those stakes we typically just use pieces of rebar as you did make wooden stakes on our own as you also did :D
I've never seen dedicated concrete dobies live, just on US YT ;-) There are some plastic ones available, sometimes used on larger construction sites but very often we just use a piece of concrete pavement etc.

I live in Sweden and I like our way of measuring in metric measurements, which you measure in the USA feels like a thing of the past. When you mentioned that you would like to have a truck like this in the United States, there were probably no problems

The slab came out great. I didn't see any holidays when you pulled off the form boards. I guess I'm showing my age but back in the 60's America was starting a 10 year plan to convert to the metric system. Back in elementary school it was part of the curriculum and then all of a sudden it stopped and went away. Don't know what happened. BTW am I hearing peacocks in the background?

You guys are awesome. You must remember that there are 44 individual countries in Europe and things are done vastly differently across those countries. Here in England we don’t do slabs as shown in France. All the things you couldn’t get are commonplace in the UK. 😎

Does a neighbor have a peacock as their flock guardian ? It sounds like they do ! Slab turned out great, does this indicate some new building adddition(s) to your home ? Was thinking of steps down to your utility shed, shower / bathroom ? You could make them in 2 or 3 organically shaped round paver molds and be able to carry them down to be installed as needed leading to and from container ( remember to make bottom side of moulds have reinforced beams or ridges around edges and criss crossing for strength and slip resistance against soil or gravel bedding ).
Maybe go really big with an infinity pool adjacent to house made from an inverted container with steel and concrete reinforced walls by using a container with numerous small holes in walls as internal structure and additional steel ( rebar welded onto container ) and concrete cladding it to support immense water weight ? Pool can also act as a reservoir for rain, and be an insurance against fire damages to protect home and vicinity in a wildfire.... Don't know if freezing is an issue in your locale's winter conditions, so maybe add a small heater and recirculation pump so it stays slightly warm in winter like 80 F ? It could have just a smaller hot tub built into main pool to keep remaining water from freezing ?
