Hi Jay Thanks so much, for the detailed help on cleaning and such. Since owning my machine, I have never used white, and therefore saw your video with a jumper hose to cap off that printhead section. Before I use the jumper hose, I noticed there was white appearing on the color side of the docking station
Hello. Excellent video and very informative. It was very useful. By the way. On my machine the test came out practically perfect, just a small flaw in the black. However, when printing, there are lines and highlights in the black. What could be the problem? After printing, if you do a test, it is still excellent. But when printing there is always a problem, it is never a uniform black. I've already replaced the damper, pulled the air with the syringe below the cap and dumper, and cleaned the head with cleaning liquid. Could it be that the head is damaged?
Jay! Wasn't sure where to even ask a question, but I see a couple of different print heads for UV printers. Do you have a favorite for chinese printers? I see L800 and XP600 being the common print heads. I noticed you mentioned the XP600 lasting ~6 months. If you were picking a machine which print head would you ideally want (while keeping the machine price still somewhat reasonable).
Hello Jay greetings from Germany and thanks for your great videos my question to you as i have no idea I have replaced the print head after it stopped printing colour, but no colour comes out of the new print head either, the pump runs but nothing comes out. What could be the problem? The cables are also new
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I do have an issue with my uv printer actual print. They look “fuzzy”, for lack of a better word, or like over spray of ink. I’m very new to uv printing, this my 1st machine, been doing sublimation and dtf for a few years now and know how to run down issues with those, the uv printer output is throwing me for a loop. Do you have ideas what would cause the issue and suggestions for correcting it. Thanks so much, T
Really great video thanks. I have one of these but I've never had a decent print from it. Ink pulls through dampers and brand new print head but the nozzle check print is terrible. Any ideas? Thanks
I have a inject wall printer,i do test and spray before printing and all the colors are ok,but when i print the red is orange, black is blue , brown in also orange...i change the printhead settings and the inks level but nothing!! Any Idea ????
@@JaysToDoList Thanks for the quick response.. The printer is from China.. they send me the inks in bottles but it doesn't write date of expire,i have them for 15 months,if the are expired couldn't it be the inks???
@Alex-mj9tf yes this could be the case on a good day inks only last 1.5 years. Make sure you are using good fresh inks find a good local source and don't buy so much ink at once. Maybe 3 or 4 months worth is enough to buy at once
Thanks for the info. I have an i3200 head and my white ink keeps fading out but not all the way to nothing. Just a faded white. Any idea what could be going on?
One other concern that I have is of course I purchased an XP 600 printed head from a local company here and it failed right away. When purchasing these print heads, which I will do from you moving forward, Is it possible that the print head is bad upon receipt even though it appears to be new
I have an issue (don't we all) I randomly loose yellow. But only when it's mixed with a high percentage of Magenta. Say 85%magenta 75% yellow. Yellow prints just fine in any other color combinations with the others. The manufacturer basically told me they don't know and lefte there. Things I've tried. New dampers (several different vendors) new printheads several different venders, I've moved it to other channels, same issue, so it's not the head. I've ran new lines, new, new ink jug. New ICC profile. It makes absolutely no sense.
This is a great troubleshooting tutorial for these printers! Awesome job!😊

No problem I have a feeling you might need this some time now ;)
My UV has no print probably for not using it for days, is this the right video sir? We have the portable UV.

This video is amazing!! Thank you so much. My nozzle check isn't working. The carriage makes a hard stop and doesn't run. What could that be?

I would choose xp600 over all of the reasonable priced heads if you wanted to upgrade then i1600u head is a good choice

I would check your nozzle for clogs then dampers for holes or inktube for kink after I have already check the ink is full

that is true there are a lot of shady sellers as long as they returned the faulty head if you just installed it
Does this work for dtf printing as well? Thanks in advance
Yes any printing with epson heads

Maybe it's how it's ripping. In the software what software do you use? Maybe you can increase yellow and reduce magenta a little see if that helps
