Halo 4: Forward unto Dawn is the best live action movie adapted from a game. That's really Master Chief. He is calm, responsive, and directs everything decisively. he braves danger to save the last survivors on the planet. he was willing to stay and stop the enemy so that the survivors could escape. he always sits on the outermost part of the ship and is always ready to fight. Master Chief is truly a hero. 👍

5:55 this is the moment ALL Halo fans want. We all starred at Master Chief and yet he will not take off his helmet because he's just that cool. The helmet should always, I repeat, ALWAYS stay on.
Problem isn't taking off the armor. Just showing his face every damn time and the cheeks was just ugh. Like, it's alright when we see his face a lot from a child up to his teens before he starts to wear the armor more post Insurgency early Covenant contact, but the show is non-canon. So there's that.

The thing about Chief before he meet Cortana is he rarely show any fluctuations change in his voice or emotions that's why many times we call him machine even the emotional one like Daisy can handle her emotion in the battle. Pablo master chief is simply to human, and to emotional. He will be a good spartan 4 though

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn was great Movie that didn't get enough Love at the time it realised and the fact a Movie that wasn't made for Master Chief being Main Character that still somehow portrayed him so well and stole all of the scenes that he was in was truly one of the best portrayals of him in Live Action. He didn't need to take of his Helmet to portray his Humanity it was his actions that truly showed how Human he truly is as a Perfect example when John tells Kelly over the Coms "You have to hold the Pelican. I won't leave them. Chief out." This one small line perfectly shows how the Chief doesn't care if it's just simple Cadets he's saving because to him they aren't just cadets they are people that need help which shines his Humanity brightly without sacrificing his core character. I only wish that Microsoft would care more about Halo and not allow It's main Character to be butchered in such a terrible way like how it's been allowed to by the Halo Tv Series.
Question is how did the covenant manage to wipe out all life on the planet in what seemed like half an hour was the planet just really sparsely populated because it took the covenant a month to wipe out nearly all life on reach
@onyx_gabriel You are correct. Reach was just as important as Earth. Which is why its fall was the UNSC's and humanity's worst nightmare come to fruition. If Reach fell then there was not much stopping them from reaching Earth. (Seeing as Reach was the bastion of most UNSC naval weaponry, ships and troop training.)
I don't care what people say about this movie, I love this movie, I just wish they got a bigger budget. It shows they care, I honestly cried watching it, this is Halo and it will always be. Halo is perfect and can be done under people that care, new lore isn't an issue. But you give a backstory to a new character and this is how you do it, but also showing Chief in is prime, but also showing that he well help/shield any normal person from harm. It shows the human side of Chief that we don't usually see in game, this is nice to see in terms of his character.
Something I love a lot with the scene in the Pelican is how they make Kelly and Fred look. They almost dont look human, the combination of physically being adults but still having the look of only 15. Its something that the TV Show failed to do, the spartans looks like standard foot soldiers put into armour and not genetically modified humans made for intense and sometimes suicidal combat.

When 343 wanted to humanize chief, they really nailed it in here. It's the perfect balance between being human while also being Bungie's stoic Master Chief. The way they went about it in Halo 4 and Infinite felt like they tried a little too hard (no opinion on 5, I'm leaving that out).

Yeah that’s right paramount, master chief never shows his face. Pablo Schriber wants to complain about not being able to express emotions with his face covered. Sebastian Stan was able to do it with just his eyes visible most of Captain America 2, Pedro Pescal was able to do it with his voice and body posture throughout mandelorian, Karl Urban did it with just his mouth visible and body language in Dredd the entire movie. My ONLY issue with this was the armour Fred & Kelly have at the end... its completely wrong but given the circumstances it gets a pass. This was made by true fans of the series who understood the lore and the characters.

John, Kelly, and Fred are all 15 years-old here. John just sounds more mature not only because of the augmentations but also because he's a guy lol. Same with Fred probably too.
