this is so helpful to me, I've been sort of randomly encountering some of the most initial of these type of abidings without much understanding of why or how-even when referring to other books and attempts to re-frame the teachings for westerners. This commentary really serves to guide me and illuminates where I actually am in terms of progress; how to proceed from my specific point and affords me a glimpse of what I might expect further on. (turns out I'm a beginner, I suppose in a sense I will be for quite a while)
