TextNow numbers do NO longer support whatsapp.
whatsapp is cracking down on virtual numbers and have been very strict on virtual numbers, as most companies that require online activation using mobile numbers.
With whatsap nowadays, if you provide a virtual number, and you dont get a message, a call will come in to provide you with the code, but no voice will be heard. when i emailed their support, they said that this happens when you use a virtual number, and that they now have a system in place that prevents you from receiving a code to your virtual number. so, not good methods

doesn't work with text now anymore. States it is not a valid (blank country) number. Maybe you should update the video.
Also, I tried text now, but whatsapp said my textnow number is not a valid US mobile number.
I had one textnow number that worked. That number is no longer mine and everyone I use now...says the same thing.

you claimed without SIM card, yet I did not hear anything about that. FYI, you are still tracked with IMEI. You cannot escape Big Brother AND use its tools.

I am trying to login to my Wattsapp account on my new phone but for some reason I am not receiving the verification code. What to do?? T-Mobile my carrier and apple care customers were unable to help, and wattsapp customer care is also unable to solve my problem.

I was able to create 2ndline on my android phone. I was successful in sending a message to a friend of mine, without a sim card in my cell phone. Can I be charged by the telephone company for doing this?
You can have free incoming and outgoing calls and text using Google Voice.
@@david203 Thanks! Can I ask u something? I'm using a Google pixel android phone to send text messages (via 2nd LINE) to two different mobile phones, call them A & B. I'm using the phone A to send the messages. I've created the contacts for both phones A & B. When I send a text msg to B, it works perfectly (sending & receiving). However, when I send a text msg to A, the msg never arrives. Can you think of why this is?
@@LDuranceau If you are using a phone with a carrier to send text messages to A and B, then I can't help you. I've never owned a cell phone. I own a mobile device that I use with Google Voice to make free calls and texts using Wi-Fi. I don't want a cell phone because the plans are too expensive and because I don't want to be interrupted by incoming calls, as I'm too busy during my retirement. I'm happy having a phone that works most of the time with no monthly charges.

I am trying to access my Whatsapp from an old broken phone linked to an old deactivated phone number. I now have a new phone and new number but remember I do not have access to the old phone because it is broken. Even the web version which I used have access to auto logged me out. Which of these methods will work for me?

I just tried the Google voice and I get the phone call, but then instead of a six digit number, I only heard one digit. Each time I tried it the wait period got longer. Was really hoping to use this without sharing my phone number with the public.
Not only your number, but everything you do on WApp will be with Meta and NSA building folder sof your actions.....Just in case you are a threat. Google does this also.

I have a google number but after a few attemps whatsapp called but they didn't tell me the codes. So I send them message from 'help' button and told me that they need a phone with sim card. So I uninstalled and reinstall whatsapp and now they don't give me 'call me' option, and everytime I click on 'resend sms', the text never comes.
Hello sir, the technology is different than a standard cellphone account. TextNow US or Canadian numbers are VoIP numbers (not standard cellular numbers) using a voice/text app with wifi or free cellular data on a Sprint or T-Mobile phone. But, the Caveat is many two-factor authentication services that will not play nice with VoIP numbers.
@@WondershareMobileTrans I have a whatsapp account with google number. It used to be working but now doesn't seem to work anymore. Or at least not for me this time. I just need to install it on my new device and now I am stuck on the old device because I never get any text from whatsapp.
I read comments from above that WhatsApp has a new system in place to prevent other apps to bypass their physical sim verification. You could receive a call but there’s voice for code. 😞
