Great video. This is my go to instruction for my Olympus 6, 120 folder . It doesn’t have a pressure plate but I think all these instructions apply. Not sure about if it has those edge rails to get under as that it was over a month ago that I loaded it. I’m just back for a recap and getting close to finishing the roll. This camera seems like it may have been designed and manufactured by the same people that made mine.
Hi. Great Video . But I also have the question about the small lever . I have a IVB and the winding is stopped at each frame and then I need to move the lever to follow to the next frame. The problem is that there is not syncronisation between the film stops and the frames. I mean that for instance , the winding is stopped at the frame 1 1/2 and then 2/ 1/2 .....in other words how to use that lever ....( sorry for my poor english)
Thanks a lot for this video, I also read through your article and it has been super helpful! I just bought one and am waiting for it to get here. I had one question on the shutter mechanism: usually I recall with some leaf shutters, it is not a good idea to change the speeds after having cocked the shutter (it usually lets you do it, but I have heard it’s damaging long term). Do you know what the best practice is here with the Automat? On the same note, can I close the camera with the shutter cocked?
2 years late, but might help others - the very top plate rotates on my model. Just the very top flat plate spins around. So not the entire knob, just look straight down and the middle flat insert will spin separate from the larger film advance knob. I took far too long to figure this out.
Obviously it is not part of the film loading process, but I was wondering what the small lever on the back of the camera, just under the winding knob is for. Thanks.
I really like it. It took a while to get everything mechanical back in order and to get the bellows replaced. But now that it is back in a useable condition, I'm really impressed with its image quality and the usability. There is a link in the description to a longer, ongoing stream of thought that I've been trying up as I've been using the camera.
Love the walk-in
What a nice camera it is!
GREAT USEFUL VIDEO AND i love your CAT!

When I bought my Mamiya 6, it didn't have the pressure plate. I don't know what to do with it... i'm still new to film. I hope someone can help.
I like this Camera very much. May I get it?
Thanks for sharing with hs how to load this camera

Looks a lot like the Kershaw 630 Folding camera from England. Is it just the NA or USA version?
does anyone know how to clean them? mine is kinda rusty and some parts are kinda stuck and hard to move
Does anyone know how to change the iso?

That level allows the film adavnce to continue to be used without having to shoot a photo.
Thanks

How do you reset the frame counter?
It automatically resets when the film door is opened to change the film.
Hi there , could you tell me how to adjust the iso please. thank you
This camera has no light meter. There is no ISO to set.
No iso adjustments, no meter.
thankssssssss
Cat want know
What are you doing 😆😆😆😆
Probably got upset that it wasn't food.
軽い掃除が、終わったんだが。
