I am still at the Springbank Distillery finishing off the reviews on all the bottles and samples from the distillery. This particular one is a Distillery Exclusive at 46% ABV with natural color and the usual non chill filtering that you get from Springbank. This is a NAS that I was told by the staff was around 8 years old. It was aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in Sherry butts.
I had mentioned the Springbank Society Tastings and have to let you know that the membership has been cut off for now due to their inability to have enough of the their special Society bottlings to meet the quickly expanded membership. Even with their good intentions it is the story of Springbank. There are just too many loyal followers and Springbank fans out there too fill a limited capacity membership.
I thought this was the last Springbank review for a while but I see I still have the Port Wood to do. Well let's get though this one and we might need a rest from the distillery for a while before doing the Port wood. Enjoy the video. Slàinte Mhath
