He does this all game in a SLOW offense, a ball dominant SG and a smaller green light than guys like Curry, Young, Morant, etc.... with a FULL PAINT....and being among THE ELITE with his AST/Turnover ratio...UNHEARD OF. The Cavs eventually will give him a perma-super-green light and let him do anything he wants. They will ALSO eventually play faster. When this happens, he will be seen by many as the leagues top PG. He has it all offensively, but most notably he is an elite shooter, passer and dribbler with an ELITE basketball IQ and ELITE instincts.
Incredble stutter step footwork. I think his hesi is deadly but he double dribbled twice in these highlights when doing the shot fake hesi. You can bring your hands together and let the ball float when doing it just can't let both touch the ball.
Also, his hesi looks like a carry/dbldebl but isn't. He brings his head and hand up like he is gonna shoot it and it looks identical to the beginning of his shot. If you see it from the slomo replay angles you see it's not a violation...just the best head fake/hesi in the league
If he can add dunks he’d remind me of the days watching AI, Tmac, Kobe and Vince Carter plays So dynamic and crazy finishers each 1 were off the edge of your SEAT entertaining!!
After ur comment i rewatched this video. It’s a few ‘carrys’(just like most modern guards) but he’s really good at canceling a high dribble mid bounce with his hand on top of the ball. His lateral dribbles and stepback hesi’s/snatch backs tho his hand is on the side of the ball. He just nice
