Since it is about that time of the year, which is whisky season, we are talking about 5 of the top whiskies that we are going to be looking for, when they get released over the summer and a little bit beyond.

Si! That Lagavulin Rum Cask is tasty - bought one at Costco for our son and tried it a few weeks ago - delish! Bought my first international whiskey (Duty Free) on our way back from Zurich. Tried a delish Swiss Whiskey (Santis) and their slightly peated version is so good I had to buy one. The folks in SFO almost messed up my bottle with their testing, but thankfully it made it back to SoCal. Cheers and looking forward to cooler weather.
I love this Lagavulin Distiller's Edition! It's my favourite distillery for good reason! I'm all about peated scotch all year - in moderation. I love the 4th Edition - Lagavulin 11 and I am thrilled I could buy a box. Well worth it. The 2023 Lagavulin 12 is my least favourite aged in Tequila casks but it's nice. I am just not a Tequila fan. It's mild and doesn't feature in a strong way.
Enjoyed that Laggy Tequila finished bottle. Sweet agave flavor matches nicely w the Laggy backbone.
Do, you know anywhere in san Diego, where i can get jack Daniels 10-12 for cheap. Going down next month.
