  • detective conan reaction. EPISODE 7 & 8 || Detective Conan "Case Closed" Reaction. So we finally start our journey with 1 of the most popular long running series, Detective Conan AKA Case Closed. Detective Conan originally aired on Adult Swim in the West but I always wrote it off as a dumb kids show. But after watching the first 2 episodes I realize that its not for kids at all. I hope you stick around for my reaction to Detective Conan. I will definitely continue if these videos receive a positive reception.

for my girl Ran's defense it isn't really common for your crush to become a little kid again. personally i would consider going to the psych ward as soon as this thought pops in my head

I appreciate that Ran isn't portrayed as stupid. She's learned a lot about observation and deduction from Shinichi.
But really... who would suspect their teenage boyfriend turned into a little kid? That's just mental. 😅
Also, bonus points for the Persona 5 music. I need to get back to my current playthrough.

I just found your channel. I have been a big DC fan for years now and seeing your reactions make me so happy because there are so few people reacting to this! Keep up the good work

Wohoo I Love Detective Conan Reactions!
These Episodes where great. Episode 7 Shows that Ran isnt stupid and suspects Conan as unbelievable as a Person turning Back Into a child is. Conan was in the End able to deflect those suspicion so Now Ran has heard Shinichis voice and Seen Conan at the Same time. Then Episode 8. The Case with the Armor in the museum. Honestly the Case Shows how Brutal Detective Conan can be

To be fair to Kogoro, most of the time he isn't actually trying to bring Conan or Ran along with him, rather what tends to happen is that they are going somewhere and something happens there. Conan almost always goes straight for the body to investigate and Kogoro will usually try to get him out of the room, though moreso because he thinks that Conan will get in the way of the investigation. The worst part is Kogoro frequently hitting Conan. It's mostly slapstick and the show is obviously not trying to say it is okay. That said, the show does occasionally give Kogoro good qualities. He's quite good at Judo and a great marksman, he's frequently shown putting his life on the line for others, he can be quite perceptive if he is actually trying, and he occasionally is quite mature compared to his normal self.
At first, Conan is not really allowed around the bodies so much as him going around others to investigate. They eventually more or less give up because he kept doing it and frequently showed he was much smarter than others his age. For the other kids it is similar, though most of the time they the situations come to them. Conan himself ends up getting the trust of quite a few of the people in the police, and even the FBI, CIA, and PSB (Public Security Bureau).
Shinichi himself had been solving "cases" for a while. His first "case" happened in preschool where he helped his father. And the first murder case happened about a year before the start of the series when he was 15 or so. But he had seen dead bodies before that.
It's a good thing that DC is fictional because even if Conan could handle seeing all of those dead bodies, the other kid characters would probably be scarred for life, and they have also get in quite a bit of danger throughout the series too. The fictional Beika City is quite dangerous, to the point where even DC's spin off parody The Culprit Hanzawa made fun of it.
