As a beginning artist & "tangler", this video was very helpful! I have also watched the "20 Easy Patterns" vid & enjoyed that as well. My only question is this: when I see most patterns listed/shown, there is now name with them as a reference to help remember what they are; Is there a reason why most people don't put the name with the tangle? Great Vids, Keep up the good work! :-D

Which brand and type of pen you would recommend to use when drawing zentangle?

If you are a beginner , I would advice you to use regular ball pens. And once you get acquainted you can go for artist quality pens.
I use Sakura Pigma microns. They’re very durable , available in various nib sizes and colours , and are pretty cost efficient.

I'm learning this in art lesson but i just do not know what patterns to draw for my zentangle. My zentangle is actually a jigsaw puzzle with a whale on it because the thems is endangered animals. My teacher asked us to draw patterns related to your feelings about the whale when it is endangered.
