      I find kunda similar to kalakand.. but let me know if there is any difference..
      Kardant happens to be too sweet for me however I love the kardant seed! my family finds it weird 😂

    My opinion: wrong choice of sweets.
    All the sweets presented here for tasting and reaction are those that are common and familiar to all peoples of North India and Pakistan.
    What you should have presented here, and which could have made the reaction more interesting would have been a selection of sweets based on: Bengali Sweets like Sandesh, Rajbhog and Rasmalai, South Indian sweets like pAyasam, jAngri, and a few from Western & Central India, like PuranPoli and Modak.
    Seeing, feeling and tasting such unfamiliar sweets would have made their reactions even more interesting.
    Not being over-critical here- but I guess you need to think out of the box.

    I agree Indian food is great! Here in California we have a lot of Indian buffets but desserts are limited to rice pudding and balls of cake in syrup or fresh fruit. Namaste to the villagers all!

      You should ask for Gajar(carrot) Halwa(puddings) for dessert. You won't regret it.

    It would have been nice if possible to get some Indian desserts that are not also common Pakistani foods. The different ladoo i think was the only one. I wonder if the people in the South of India or East India have different types of desserts? Kulfi, Faluda, sooji ka halwa are extremely common in Pakistan.

    I live in an area with a fairly large Indian immigrant population. There are lots of places to get good Indian food, but not a whole lot to try Indian sweets, which drives me absolutely nuts! I really want to try some!

      Where I live, people drive two hours to buy beautiful gift boxes of laddu and assorted sweets to give away to guests to celebrate births and marriages. Besan Laddu is my favorite. Something about besan flour seems to not raise glucose quickly. There are a few types of laddu but besan laddu is soft and moist.

      I wish! Most of the desserts are too sweet for my taste, but I loooove gajar (?) halva, which you can make at home. Shredded carrots cooked in cream, add honey , cinnamon, nutmeg, butter, maybe raisins at end 😋

      In my city the desserts at Indian restaurants are tiny portions, hideously expensive, and so often made from box mixes I could buy myself at the local Asian supermarket. I decided to search for recipes here on TH-cam and make them from scratch if I can.

    I am so pleased that you love the food of the USA (and especially the sound, where I live). But, I have to admit that Indian food is my absolute favorite. The spices, the cream, the meat, it's all so flavorful. Good choice in video content.

    I am Indian. My Pakistani friend once brought Karachi halwa and sohan halwa from Pakistan. It was yummy better than what I get in Delhi.

    I'm confused. Why are the tribe people acting surprised when the people shooting the video probably bought those sweets within their country Pakistan right? So I think they already know these northern Indian sweets as it's probably the same in Pakistan since that was India not too long ago

      They are from Balochistan and the culture there is slightly different from Sindh and Punjab...it has some similarities to Iranian culture...they most probably would have seen and eaten these deserts but not as often as we would expect

    This sooji halwa does look like prasad. The first time I tried gajar ka halwa (orange due to carrot) it was at a Pakistani American Thanksgiving dinner, so I assumed it was more of a Pakistani dish when a Pakistani Christian brought it to a church potluck. As Manzoor Bhai said, it's similar across the border, though our Indian friends love my husband's Pak style biryani.

      First dessert sooji halwa is made with semolina, many ways to make it with either water or milk, nuts and raisins are mostly added and saffron which brings the color. The pink drink is called falooda
