Put some cereal in his mouth and let him eat it! Quit scraping spit off his chin and sticking the spit back in his mouth. Let him drool. Get more on the spoon and put it in his mouth. Nobody wants to eat their spit!
Hi Marilyn OConnell...THANK YOU for your comment !!! I have been thinking the exact same thing every time I see one of these videos of a baby trying food for the first time!!! People just have no logic when it comes to feeding babies anymore. After the first spoonful of food when they start to drool, wipe the spit away with a bib or something but Plesse STOP popping spoonfuls of spit over and over into their mouths. I mean no wonder the kid's don't want to eat. Cooled off drool. I don't see any jars of Gerber baby food on the shelves with that label on them. So, thank you again Marilyn OConnell! Exactly! Most parents also don't bring the spoon inside the baby's mouth and all the food comes out. How is touching the lips with the spoon feeding? Is this how they themselves eat?
Yes, She can feed him. I have (3) Adult Daughters and (6) Grandchildren and all of them had rice cereal and then advanced on. You have absolutely no right to tell another mother how to care for her child and that includes how to feed her child. The cereal mostly has breast milk in it, also some women can not breastfeed their child for one reason or another so stop shaming!! God bless this lady and her child

I can’t watch this. The child is sleepy just give him a bottle and try again to tomorrow. Maybe then he will get a spoonful of food and not spit.
Cute name for a cute (and sleepy) baby! I'd put him in a high chair for better head support. He can't hold his head up yet.

Just some advice from being a mom, your precious baby should nap instead of trying to feed him while he's so sleepy:)
