Retired F-4 Phantom II, F-111 and F-15E aviator here. Subscribed a few days ago. Admire your professionalism and radio discipline and, well... desire to always be ahead of the pointy end. Big congrats on what you've achieved already and will achieve in the future. Make sure to celebrate a lot as you go, before you can imagine it, it will all be over. /Old Guy
Wow! That is an impressive reusme, and that comment sure means a lot coming from you! Thank you for the comment, and thank you for your service.
All that and a paycheck. Great video. Felt like I was in the right seat with you.
Thank you! That was the goal, so I’m glad it worked!
Love how clean that glass panel is. No clutter.
I agree, it’s very pleasing to the eye! I just filmed a video in a CJ4, and it is very well done also.
My son (11) and I absolutely enjoy watching your videos. He definitely gains knowledge just from the in-flight commentary and the walking through preflight, etc.. Great content ✌️✈️
What a great comment! Sounds like he has the bug. I started flying when I was 13, so get ready!
I enjoyed the flight Ryan. Thanks for the helpful info on how smooth altitude changes on auto. You do a great job explaining what is going on, that pre-flight info on engine startup was also helpful.
Glad you liked it!
Really insightful video on M2's procedures Ryan, thanks for sharing!
You are quite welcome!
Excellent video. Enjoyed hearing you verbally describing what you were doing every step of the way.
Glad you liked that! I made it a point to really try to emphasize everything I was doing on this video.
Wow. TH-cam really knows me. I love the Citation Mustang and this video was on the top of my suggestions. Thank you!
You are welcome, glad you liked it!
TH-cam knows you better than your mama does
Great plane and panel. Excellent radio work, very concsise. I like it.
Thank you!
Good example of all standards; well done sir, thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much!
Super smooth and way impressive !
Great flight...thanks for taking us along!
Glad you could come!
Thanks Ryan. Nice job as always on the flying and the video. Have a Merry Christmas with your sweet family!
Thank you very much, you have a Merry Christmas as well!
Thanks so much, Ryan, from Sydney, Australia. I've just discovered your channel, and am a huge fan! Fascinating and informative - thanks again & Merry Christmas.
Glad you like it. Merry Christmas to you as well!
Thank you Ryan! Great flight on a beautiful aircraft!
Glad you enjoyed it
I fly commercial often and can't ever remember going through weather or seeing clouds above me at cruising altitudes on medium to long flights. The highest altitudes were usually in the high thirties and business jets fly even higher still. I think it is amazing how single pilots manage systems and maintain situational awareness outside the aircraft such as weather oand other aircraft. My hat goes off to you that safely do this as a profession and hobby.
Thank you! It can be a challenge at times, but I like that.
Great video. I appreciate how you give little snippets of wisdom about flight operations.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
No BS and you have a nice delivery. Quality flying.
Thank you very much!
Your narrative is clear and informative. Thanks. Happy New Year!
Glad you liked it, Happy New Year!
Thanks Ryan, yet another great video, enjoyed the explanations and the video length.
Glad you liked it! I was a little concerned about how long the video was, but I felt like there was a good amount of content to justify it.
First time I have seen one of your videos. Amazing quality, your easy to listen to and your explanations are excellent IMHO. I will be riding along for now on.
Thank you very much, I'm glad to have you here. I'll try to keep the good content coming!
Beautiful slalom around those CB's. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the video Ryan ! Keep em coming 😊
Glad you liked it!
Nice flying, Ryan! Glad to see you back in the sky 😁
Thank you!
Thank you for the content, Great flight in the M2!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing pilot.
Thank you! I have had some great mentors along the way.
Thank you for posting. Good audio mix, all camera positions and very informative narration. Keep doing just like this. Best regards from Finland.
Thank you very much, glad you liked it!
Amazing flight sir keep it up !
Thanks, will do!
keep em up! I absolutely enjoy your content 👍🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! I’ve got 2 more filmed and in the editing process now.
Great video. Looking forward to more content.
I've already got a CJ4 video in the works, so stay tuned!
Really nice video!!
Thank you! Glad you liked it
Great job!!
Thank you!
Hi Ryan: I've enjoyed all 6 of your episodes that I've watched so far. Looking forward to watching more. I retire from my engineering manager job in 3-1/2 weeks and am looking forward to retirement. I'm a Commercial Pilot, ASEL, AMEL & CFII and am looking forward to instructing more and having people pay me to fly fast, expensive planes! Watching your channel helps me learn things that are helping me in my flying journey. Thank you!
Quite an honor to hear that you are getting some educational value out of these videos! It sounds like you have some fun times ahead! Congrats on finishing the work career, now time to begin the fun career!
The best comfort&safe personal jet👑
It is a great airplane!
Hello from Sherwood.
Just came across your Channel and subscribed. Been watching Citation Max for some time now. You both do an excellent job of explaining flight procedures. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Nice flight!
Thanks! Thank you for watching!
Great sound.
Thanks for the FLC tips on the CJ4, I agree it’s brutal 😅.
I had good people teach me that one early on!
Just came across your channel. Love it!!!! Definitely subscribing
Awesome! Glad to have you!
Good job !
Thank you! Glad you liked the video.
Enjoyed the ride along!
Thank you! Thanks for coming along!
Subbed! Great content TY for sharing!
Glad to have you here, thank you!
Good job, nice approach two white & two red.
Thanks!
thanks for sharing
You are quite welcome!
I enjoy your vlogs!
Thank you very much!
I fly a light sport with Dynon glass panel. Very similar to your Garmin, so it was fun watching your PFD.
2400 fpm climb out makes me jealous.
I enjoy watching a pro. Thanks for the video.
Shoot, 2400 FPM was nothing! I fly a CJ3+ for my full-time job, and I had 7500FPM today.
you have remembered every way point back to little rock? amazing
Ha! It's a common route, and I was in Sarasota/Tampa quite a bit last summer so I knew what to expect.
nice video, Ryan!
Thanks Daniel!
The Proline FLC comment was extremely helpful
Glad it could help you out!
You said you were "home" in this video. Jacksonville, Ark is my home. Currently living in the SF Bay Area. Retired here at Travis AFB after 30yrs as Air Force Crew Chief on C-5's and other AF airframes. Enjoy your videos and looking forward to hearing about your history. Best !
You must have spent some time on the C-130’s as well!
Thank You for the Details. New Suscriber
Glad to have you here!
Flew in citations in the 80’s and early 90’s…didn’t have glass like that 👍
I'm very spoiled!
Meh. He might as well be sitting in a cubicle somewhere working for State Farm.
@@Heyemeyohsts nah, I don’t like wearing khakis.
@@TheRunwayRyan lol
@@TheRunwayRyan You know what sucks about aviation? Whatever I learn about aviation, whether it is from a DPE, a CFI, a corporate pilot, or an airline pilot, there is always some other aviator out there that says its wrong, and “whomever told you that doesn’t know what they are talking about”
Nice job!!!
Thanks!
So that’s how you do it!!
That was one of the smoothest landings, I`ve ever seen.............well done..
I get lucky every now and then!
I am really enjoying watching your videos and your great explanations of what you are doing. You seem like a very proficient pilot and very safety conscious. My dad was a pilot and had almost 17,000 hours and started in the Air Force and ended up flying air ambulance. In the 70s I got to fly with him in Navajo and a baron and the King air. Dad has since passed and I am 63 and enjoy flying a flight simulator of all sorts of airframes. I would rather fly the cj3 but the cj4 comes with Microsoft flight simulator and the avionics are not as easy to work with. A flying mostly the TBM 930 and a bonanza and sometimes the Kodiak. You should have a lot more viewers and I'm sure you'll get many many more.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you are liking the videos!
Crazy weather friend
Summertime in Florida! Always interesting!
NICE JOB, Ryan. As a retired controller and former CJ2+ driver (good Lord, fifteen years ago now), I approve of your style and attention to detail. The M2 is a fairly simple plane, yet you flew it with the professionalism I'd expect from a... professional pilot in a G-whatever or BBJ.
I'd bust minimums with you any day! Why? Because I think you would divert before becoming the first person to the crash site.
Thank you for the nice comments! I take the “always learning” mentality very seriously.
Smooth as a baby's behind! And you say "not too bad of a landing?"😂
The camera helps!
When you make the flight plan on Fms the system check the legs frequencies outomatic
Great videos, you have a fantastic way to present information. You should instruct. I go to Jack Edward and BZN from MKU often. Would love to fly with you sometime . Money Man
Thanks for watching!
I love Florida storms
They can be a challenge for flying! Luckily this day they really weren't that bad.
That slim looks BETTER than FS 2020 😁😁😁😁
Nice 👍🏽
just subscribed now as well
Thank you, glad to have you!
Showwwwwww!
i reckon that you might of been a pilot trainer, and your favorite airplane was the f15 class of airplanes. you might know "premier 1 driver" youtuber from service days.
I wish I was a fighter pilot! I follow Premier 1 Driver as well, but that’s as far as I know him.
Great explaining of procedural stuff...mice flight.
Glad it was helpful!
Have you done one in a Piaggio P180 Avanti before?
No, I haven't ever flown a Piaggio
How old are the batteries? Just noticed the amount of voltage drop when the starter motor was on. Is that normal for these engines?
I'm not sure, this is not a plane that I manage. I was just contracting on this one. A huge drop is pretty normal, the starters initially draw around 800-1000 amps as soon as you hit the button.
All of this software things about flc can not be feedback to the manufacturer to smother it out?? I just got Cyrus jet on msfs and it has the same software.
You would think. I think it is just the Proline being an older system.
Ryan, how You record ATC sound with environment? Thanks for the answer.
It is an adapter from nflightcam.com
@@TheRunwayRyan Thanks ATC sound ok. But still I don't know where did You get environment sound from? Is it track from other recorder?
@@witoldszafranski4316 yes, for the ambient noise I use one of the other GoPros, and I turn down its audio stream so it sounds right.
You need a camera on the dashboard looking out the front.
Working towards that! Those things are pretty expensive
Ryan, what editing program do you use?
I use Final Cut Pro
That's a cloud group to avoid at all costs!
Definitely! I wish I could have filmed the flight down. It was really bad on the way down.
Sweet plane! Hello from Searcy.
Well hey there neighbor!
I thought it was a good landing. I didn't feel a thing. 😆 😆
It's settled then! I did a good job!
Nice!! I don't care for the clutter on top of the insrtument panel.
I'm not the biggest fan either, but hey it's not my plane!
@@TheRunwayRyan I "get it."
Good man pulling out that checklist to verify.
I HATE watching pilots go through flow checks and then never pull out the checklist
Always! Do the flow, then time permitting back it up with the checklist. That's the single pilot way!
☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
I know people are impressed with all the buttons his hitting, But I thought aircraft were becoming more advanced. Does it mean as aircraft become more and more advanced, they will have to hit more and more buttons????
This is a shockingly simple airplane! You should see all of the button pushing on some of the others. Eventually, more and more things will be automated and/or accessed through the computer screens.
@@TheRunwayRyan Yes I get you Its just they show aircraft of 20 years ago and now Modern Aircraft with 1000 switches. I would think by now Advanced aircraft would have very few and the majority would be automated or in the Glass screen
whats up with that controllers voice?
Not sure, some of them have every unique voices!
I would have liked tap the brakes and gear up.
I actually had this discussion in depth with a really good friend the other day. I was never trained that way, so it just didn’t become habit to me.
@@TheRunwayRyan Never to late to start, when you think how fast the wheels are actually spinning on take off.
comment for the algorythm.
Hey I’ll take it, thank you!
Maybe a clear warning......
Not a pilot.
If you are a single jet pilot flying and # 1 isn't the answer,
can you set auto pilot & get up and & use the poop room?
Unfortunately no, you are stuck!
I wonder if it's ever been done before?
music distracts and detracts
Great job! Awesome!
Thank you very much!
Million dollar plane and worried about fuel lol
This plane is worth well more than a million. Also, I don’t own the plane, I just fly it for the owner. I make it one of my goals as a professional pilot to operate these airplanes as efficiently as possible, while not sacrificing safety of course.
Fisheye sucks. Sorry
I agree that it’s not my favorite, but these cockpits are really small. There’s not really any other good way to show everything.
Flying while on my couch. Whodathunkit. 😂
Can't beat it!
