I went to 3 different places, all with different price points and quality levels. This is part 1. I got a suit and a 2 piece silk dress custom-made from scratch. Wait until you see how quickly it got done and the quality!

I’m living in Hoi An because I love it! And there’s about 200+ tailor / clothing shops! And the same number of restaurants and cafes. So I still like to expand my knowledge of the city. And I go to a cafe beside Be Be all the time

Could you please give us your tips and recommendations when visiting Hoi an?
@@allyhvis6046 I like the old town and there’s some amazing 5 star hotels in and near the old town with swimming pools. However if you’re a beach person you can stay there. More great places to stay there. It only takes 15 to 20 minutes to get from the beach to the town by car or bike. And there’s over 200 good restaurants and cafes. Enjoy everything in the day and night. Locals are up in the market at 5:00 am and still there in the evening. Many people have a break during the hot afternoon. And there’s some amazing sunsets and sunrises at the beach and town and rice fields

I got a nice shirt made in Hoi An 8 years ago and it’s still in good shape and I wear it all the time! Last year I went back to the same shop and got some shorts. They made them exactly how I wanted. On the other hand I got some shirts years ago at a different place and they didn’t last very long. But it’s a matter of the quality you get and what you pay.

Ha! They can make anything for any BODY! Such a dream for those of us who have a hard time shopping off the rack no matter what. Both shops really made me feel welcome; no off hand comments about my body or anything…which is RARE in Asia. I hope you have a wonderful experience too!

For tourists is good price, but for the local is too expensive. But it is worth it because they are much better than in Thailand
They don’t charge locals the price they charge foreigners lol. I loved seeing everyone so dressed up for Tet in custom clothes!
Girl, you look stunning!!! I love that the clothes in VN are tailor made. We got an entire wardrobe the last year we were there. Did you have an opportunity to bargain for the prices you were charged or did you just go with the flow?
I don’t like bargaining but yes I did at all 3 places. Either way I always feel like I paid too much, especially since I’ve been in China so long I don’t know how much anything is supposed to cost lol. Everything is so expensive outside of China.
