The government of India, should take a deep ,active interest in Rajiv Ji's work, if they have any sense of foresight and intellect, to not to look at India as a nation born 70 years back, but as a distinct civilization that has survived for thousands of years despite all attempts by various forces to put it out of existence.The way i see it, India today is like Hanuman in Ramayan who had himself forgotten who he is, and what is capable of.Time has come for India to become self aware.

I would say the ideas of 'Niti' and policy making are so mature and profound in Ancient Indian works like Panchtantra, Hitopadesha, Chanakya Neeti , Arthashastra. Infact Mahabharat and Ramayan also have a treasure house of knowledge on Niti, ethics, statecraft apart from Spiritual knowledge .
There were even works on ethics of love making such as Kamasutra. This showed that our ancestors valued every aspect of life .(Dharma-Artha -Kaam -Moksha). But now-a days our gurus are only teaching us Moksha.
For secular knowledge we have to depend on Western paradigms and models which many a time are incompatible to our dharmic system .
I really thank Rajiv Ji for his efforts and contributions to Dharmic Thought System.
Dharmic Thought System (DTS) of India is good and it can be popularised for the well-being of our people. Rajiv Malhotra is a modern saint born amongst us. We all join his school of thought. Thank you.

Rajiv Malhotra 's main contribution is that he has at last triggered the beginning of a long process of "reconstruction of metaphysics" for hindus . This was urgently required for decades since india's independence. Future hindu generations will fondly remember him for this contribution. This has happened at the right time when millions of indians/hindus are increasingly getting access to Internet & Social Media .
Nobody can stop the Idea whose time has come ! Social media used in right ways can help accelerate this process at an unprecedented speed .
Reconstruction of Metaphysics is a different kind of mental revolution. It involves an exploration of those ideas which have seeped into our subconsciousness mind over past generations which lived under foreign colonial powers & which influenced & determined our very ways of perception, outlook etc. It is time to shake off this historical baggage .
We have to go back to our vedic roots & reconstruct our whole mindset !
Western (Both Christian / Islamic) appproaches are essentially reductionist ! . They provided the West with unparallel power & wealth in the last 500-1000 years. Nobody denies that . They are inherently unsustainable & neither can their costs be externalised as before. So the search for alternative is a must.
The Shift of the Centre of Gravity of Global Power & Wealth to Asia should be seen in that Context . Maybe a Combination of Indian Abstractness & Chinese Concreteness may be that future event which we should looking forward to.

Rajivji is helping a lot. it is better we read our original text in Sanskrit. people who could not understand they should read translated in local language and not english. English translations even by indian authors are biased due to ignorance of right English word. example Ishwar, Bhagwan is translated as LORD. just look at literal meaning of the word.
Excellent video, I will certainly buy that book on the contribution of Hinduism. Secular India does not do any such work, likes following repackaged white dictates.

India is not just a unique country but a small virtual world in itself. May be we have to discover Original India which might be hidden and needs to be unearthed from the mud heaps , avalanches etc and is not so easy to say 'that is India' and point to the Lat-Long and call it the Boundaries of India. Anyone can make a film in a slum of Mumbai or Kolkata and happily disgrace it and sell his products to this virtual world of a 1.25 bi population. But remember no Gold will be visibly displayed just as Mackenna's Gold mountains to make a living out from. It still needs hard work. Well, why a virtual world, one may wonder if he cannot realise it. It is an origin to many new named religions or philosophies, named prophets from at least few millenniums but is also a mother that hosted the new religions of the recent millennium such as Islam and Christianity as well as Marxism etc. India offered a fertile land for new seeds while it acceded to the forceful thrusts not because it could easily have been handled but because it's virtues are yet and always hidden inside the mud and avalanches and cannot be visible unless one works not just hard but has to be humble, honest, and sincere not to others but to himself, oneself. This avalanche is almost like the 'invisible' zero or 'shoonya' or is a full circle of completeness depending on the radius of this circle.

Nowadays, people of the ilk of Sheldon Pollock are trying to reposition india and Sanskrit as colonising powers, oppressing other local cultures within india and in south East Asia too. They forget that Europeans sought India, not other way around. South East countries were not colonised by India, except during short period under Cholas, perhaps Vijayanagar kings. Because it was voluntary adoption, India’s cultural heritage is alive in these countries.

Sir, Please remove the Idea of "Religion" in the people.
Instead Introduce "School of thought" and provide introduction to various schools of thoughts which includes abrahamic school of thoughts in Indian School books.
I feel very worried how Hindu became religious identity instead of geographic identity.
you may feel so, but christians and muslims are very proud and clear that they are " religious" and it has definite definition !
While hindu is not a religion in the western sense, its not just geography alone. From this geography a unique civilization happened which is also a hindu ( i know where you got this geographic identity thing ). how do you call an american worshiping krishna and doing ganesh pooja ?
It makes conversions much easier. They will tell hindus that you dont have a religion and come get one. That too it comes with a free pass to eternal hell. Things are not yet matured to do what you are proposing
