In one word “Pagan” this law student called me a ‘village bumpkin’. My ancestors endured over 600 yrs of Islamic rule which wanted to convert them to Islam and 200 yrs of British rule which wanted to convert them to Christianity and still continued to be “Pagans” and continued followed their own culture and religion and gave it to me as my heritage. You think this confused law student calling me “Pagan” will shame me or make me desist ne from accepting my ancestors? A law student....not even good at what she is studying as her arguments show and wading into the field of religion and culture without master her own field of choice is nothing more than childish behaviour.

Atleast she is not like those rabid leftwingers who only come to disrupt by being loud and making inflammatory statements rather than genuinely engaging in conversation with RM. She seems to be open-minded and is willing to listen to his side.

No sir!! She seems actually a clever tactician who immediately retreats from the battlefield after finding oneself in a losing position. This could be observed by her attitude in her opening remarks.

We have to look at the content People can talk non-stop nonsense but it does not mean that they are difficult to argue with. Our school/college education system (based on western education model) teaches just one dimensional and limited "cognitive" intelligence. But Rajiv Malhtora and people who seek the truth have multiple intelligence. - Social, moral, spiritual, emotional and cognitive intelligence. No matter what you throw at them, they could neutralize it easily

I would like to see it as a Father and Daughter discussion. Because he was harsh and gentle, when needed, like a father. and she was putting her point, discussing (agree to disagree) with respect and understanding like a daughter. A happy yet little heated, elder and younger discussion or knowledge transfer.

    • @kritikaushik5499

      Handled? Crushed her.
She was just trying to trap him in technicalities, like most law students do. I being a law student know how this works. However, since she already has her mind fixated on what she thought was right and her facts been incorrect, demolishing her argument was a cake for Rajiv ji who is the master in his subjects.

The lady wanted to outsmart him at first by asking certain twisted questions. He blocked her at the source itself by the sheer grace of logic. Finally, she conceded and became a follower by agreeing to read his books and tried to project herself as little more Indian. With a superficial knowledge, you cannot have a debate with a person who has dedicated his life towards a subject

the root cause of all problems in the world is the language they speak. the mother tongue language defines your way of behaviour, it defines the way your brain works. just compare all the major langguages spoken all around the world. each language speaking population has a particular mind set. ancient indian sages has developed a particular language which by practising since childhood will give a beautiful outgoing mind set, with minimal interpersonal conflicts. Suppose malayalam speaking population are liberal, respectable population with very minimal conflicts. Tamil speaking population are very extreme ,whether it is love or aggression. chinese speaking population are very dedicated discplined population. german , russian, english, spanish, italian. etc are all having their own traits. As the girl in this video said, sanskrit is perfect for computer coding. no other language has these features. Hence we have to agree that, we are very lucky to be born in india with such a great linguistic culture. Language is the backbone to any culture. and unfortunately our sy.phi.list.ic first PEE.YEM became a toy of those foreign religions and disgraced india by allowing their language to become official language of india.

Our country India is filled with so many such youths who are always ready to challenge their heritage without really having invested their time over understanding the traditional subject matter.
Here the attitude of asking the question was not of enquiry but of allegation and then she very cleverly took a U-turn in the end when found herself on a weaker ground.

Very sad to see an otherwise intelligent young Indian make such a huge blunder by saying "the Northeast has no links to sanskrit". Obviously her education did not talk about the deep cultural links between the Northeast and ancient India. King Bhagatdatta of Pragjyotishpur (today's Guwahati, Assam) was a participant in the Mahabharat War and the kingdom predates the Ahom kingdom. Ulupi was one of Arjuna's wives and a Naga princess. One of Krishna's wives was Rukmini from what is now Arunachal Pradesh where the ruins of Rukminigaon are still visible.

Bless u Amrish. We all need to unite to defend our heritage. There are pseudo-secularist and certain politicians who are fighting to keep the indian heritage away from indians. Sanskrit is considered a perfect language. There is so much of knowledge to be knowned if only we knew sanskrit. Indians need to know their heritage. The British have made indians to feel so insecure with a low self esteem. Today our young are clueless. They ape everything west. They even want to speak like the whiteman. People like Rajiv Malhotra are like shining knights in armour who are trying to get indians back on track towards the greatness it once was.

Tree rights were raised in India decades ago in the CHIPKO ANDOLAN, where villagers hugged & tied themselves to trees to stop them being cut. We have worshiped/respected nature for millinums. Modiji speeches have been propagating this for decades.

Indian students and professionals and colonised have a fundamental problem. Deviation from human rights have to be tackled by understanding them and by taking corrective actions. Not by rejecting our culture, language, heritage and the past in toto.

Sanskrit is a perfect language for human brain and computers. This is coming from a neurologist practicing in Dallas. I started teaching sanskrit to my son. I bet he will become better citizen. Many europeans are pouring money to learn sanskrit. Indians will ultimately lose to us americans as we are learning power of sanskrit. In fact our ISD now has sanskrit as second language in Frisco, Texas.
Don't be a parrot and slave of some pseudointellectuals. Use your brain and apply logic.

Yes yes, we can all see who took whom to task here and who ended up embarrassed and mumbling inanities to end the exchange in some sort of face-saving chatter of agreement and reconciliation. LOL
