Aspirant got busy in there next attempt as the next prelime is within 20- 25 days of final result.

I have been issued a disability certificate which is 40% since 2018 but originally I have a small degree of locomotor disability (only 1 leg affected- can't ride 2 wheeler due to imbalance. Rest everythingis good by God's grace.) I am concerned will this disability be considered as benchmark set by upsc or not. What if I cleared the mains then at the time of the interview and medical checkup, will board accept or reject?

This is one of the biggest issue India is facing, lot of talented people move out of country (brain drain) as they do not want to get irritated looking at this reservation system. Rich are getting richer as IAS ka beta hi IAS banega. UPSC is reached a new low, even I used to think high of this exam but ugly it is. All should be investigated and they need to be put behind bar.
I have studied from a top college in Delhi University. During my days in grad, I noticed that most of my OBC friends/Classmates from hostel or DU college came from OBC NON-CREAMY LAYER reservation.
Living with them for few years, I realised that these guys were kids of Diamond traders, gold traders, big businessmen in Rajasthan, UP, Maharasthra, etc. They were the ones who were buying new iPhone every year, their houses back in hometown looked nnothing short of a 5 star Havelli.
OBC non-creamy layer is a joke!! Deserving people from OBC non creamy layer who deserve this are suffering.

I never used to watch Aakash’s video but today I am watching, liked and commenting on his video because he is absolutely right this time. I used to support Mr. Modi but now I am second guessing my decision. There are more than 15 lakhs UPSC aspirants appear in this exam every year. We never know what their struggles must be, what they are going through. It’s saddening to see so much corruption in such kind of exams.
These quotas are backdoor to anywhere in India. Crumbling the system year on year. I have known many students using EWS to get into medical schools despite their families owing acres of land !
Only top 5% Indians earn more than 8 lakh per annum. means 95% indian will be eligible for EWS. ST are poorest in India and they got just 7% Reservation and General with 66000 per month gets 10% reservation. how are they poor?

Even in 2009 all india PMT exam (entrance exam for MBBS), after my joining in Delhi central government medical college, I came to know that one girl who parents are Supreme Court lawyer and her parents have 4-5 house in Delhi, got admission by applying OBC non creamy certificate. And also sister was IFS officer. Now she is MBBS, MD, DNB - oncology.
One more girl, who brother was IPS and having own house in Delhi, got admission by OBC certificate. Another girl whose father was IRS officer, that girl initially admission in MP (don’t know whether by competitive exam or by Vaypam scam or by her father money), she got transferred from MP in mid of second year MBBS to central government Delhi hospital on the medical ground that she has asthma. First we were surprised that how someone can change university in between course from state to central government medical college that too in Delhi and further she was my roommate, I have never seen her taking medicine or puff for Asthma. Now, she is MBBS, MD. Corruption and paper leak was always there in the system. Poor and true caste students suffer, their seats are snatched by these rich children. It is good part of social media and also TH-camrs like deshbhakt, who have raised the issues and have highlighted so people are knowing now in large scale.

I guess this is the story of every state in INDIA sadly. i thought it is happening only in my state arunachal and maybe an occasional news of bihar. but seeing the recent news of few years,the paper leakage,nepotism,cash for job has been an issue in almost all states of our country.
and now central institutions which was the only pillar of honesty and integrity is compromised too it seems.
a few years seeing the rampant corruption in our state used to think i have more chances of clearing the reputed central services exam than our already fixed state services.
but i guess that thinking has gone down the drain too.
no wonder, our country is moving backwards with the caliber of corrupted recruitments going on in state and national levels. and the brilliant and genuine minds working given up on their dreams to serve the nation and doing hand to mouth available jobs just for the means of survival.

Yeah, I had an experience with an IRS Officer's son.
He was a friend from college, initially sweet but then started coercing me into sexual favours which I refused. He was harassing me and I denied each time. We had a mutual friend who was suicidal and I used to take care of her. She wouldn't let me cut contact with him and said he won't cross the line if you say no, he is just playing around. I never had male friends growing up because I was scared. Had been through terrible abusive experiences as a child. So, I didn't know what to do.
He tried forcibly kissing me and left last minute. My anxiety was terrible but I felt responsible for my other friend who threatened to isolate herself and I made myself believe that he was just playing around, he is not serious especially since he knew my past. He was extrememly emotionally and mentally abusive and somewhere I felt responsible for everything. I refused any relationship with him even though I liked him once. I was scared of him. He threatened to make my life miserable if I told anyone about him.
One day I just had enough. I was still scared so I started distancing without any fights or confrontation. But he started spreading rumours, asked me to continue our friendship and mentally harassing me in multiple ways. It brought me to a state that I was so done. His mother was an IRS officer and he thought he could get away like he did for most of his life. He even told a friend if this became legal, he would get the best lawyers from Telengana and get away.
I collected every bit of evidence I had and even though our college authorities were terrible and tried to push me down, I made it very clear that if he is not shifted from my class, and kept away from me indefinitely, I will go straight to the police and with the evidence it was enough to get a zero fir and arrest him within 24 hours. They transferred him to another campus.
That was the first time I got to know just how much a civil servant can influence the system. The end result wasn't an easy path. In fact, I had many factors in my favour owing to some wonderful people and some good decisions I made. The only reason it got there was because I was done and refused any alternative.
Please don't stop this series 🙏..people should know how horrible present condition is..

Growing up in the rural part of South Indian during the 90s, our elders thought people from North India were smarter. That is the reason why they always came first in UPSC like competitive exams. Since news like this are coming out, did this trend of corruption and scam started way back when😮
I agree. Now it appears they've been cheating all along. Also, the biggest advantage for northern states is conduction of written tests AND interviews in Hindi. This is where southern candidates lose out.
