The John Player Lecture: Sam Peckinpah on The Wild Bunch (audio, 1969)

Audio of Sam Peckinpah's on-stage appearance at London's National Film Theatre in 1969 (possibly June) discussing The Wild Bunch and also Major Dundee, Ride the High Country and The Ballad of Cable Hogue (which Sam was finishing). Warren Oates is in the audience as you will hear. The film Sam mentions seeing three times is Last Year at Marienbad (1961). Featurette on the UK Blu-ray release of Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia.
