- I picked up a couple of very affordable wine bottles from the grocery store & added some sparkly glitter to them.
For this project you will need: Mod Podge glue, glitter, wine or liquor bottles of your choice & sponge brush

I would spray the whole bottle with a Clear Lacquer coat or 2 to seal glitter and label.🥰
I'll have to try that spray.
Try using aerosol hair spray extra hold to seal it, it doesn’t dull the sparkle.

@@keyla02318 No it should be aerosol spray you can get from Walgreens like Tresemme or any cheap brand
That seems like a faster fix, and it certainly is a great idea. However, does anyone know whether it would be as durable as mod podge to stand the test of time. 🤷♀️

How long do you let it dry before before putting on the final sealing coat
At least an hour or 2
Do you spray adhesive over it layer to prevent glitter falling off?
I do but it slightly dulls the shine
I have used a spray before or I used Mod Podge mixed with glitter

I would & I have. But this was fine not extra fine.

How many hrs will the sealing take
Less than an hour. Especially if you dry it in from of a fan . 30-40 min
These bottles turned out really nice. Did U get the glitter from Walmart? Have U used the glue spray b4 to seal it?
Thank you 😊 I bought my glitter from papermart.com I also use Walmart glitter just not in this video. I haven't tried the glue spray before yet. I have used a clear acyrlic spray before . To me it worked ok but the glitter looked really dull afterwards.
At the end is it the same one as u made in the video? When u seal it does it turn clear
Yes the same bottle is at end of video. Yes it turns clear.
Hi, I notice that mod podge come in different styles. Do I have to use the red label brand or will the yellow label also work for this project?
I'm not familiar. The one I use has an orange/ red label & it's the gloss kind.

Can i ask why you add water to the sealing glue? Does that make it shine more?
I saw it done that way before & I thought it would help with the shine and not make it look as thick. Lately I've been using a sealant clear acrylic spray instead

Gently try to scrape it off. Then try to make sure the glue is smoother when you apply.
Sooooooooooo it' looks like the 16oz glitter is more then enough for 1 bottle. I want to try this but I may get a smaller size bottle of glitter.
That should be fine. Glitter goes a long way.

No you don't have to. Chunky glitter tends to have a fuller coverage but even if you use fine glitter if it looks good enough to you then 1 coat is fine.
