Whats the point of watching someone listening to a song if thats literally all they're gonna do? I've seen that. They play the song, then at the end say "that was dope" or something along those lines and that's it. Flawdzilla has the knowledge and experience that makes his reactions worthwhile.

Context: I’m a white, 52 year old housewife. I’m not generally a rap fan, I just discovered Tom MacDonald a few months ago.
I’m a HUGE fan of good writing, deeper meaning and being able to “see” what someone is trying to express. I have two teenagers that have no interest in viewing what I find crazy cool. My husband does, but he might not always have the energy.
With you, I feel a kindred spirit. Like, when you want to show something to someone hella smart that will appreciate nuance and imagery, but you don’t have an IRL friend like that? I have you. 😂 I appreciate your perspective, intelligence, pure gut reactions, passion and the ability you have to connect with a wide audience.

I discovered Tom MacD about a year ago and I've been hooked ever since.
I love his music, his style, his videos but overall, I love and appreciate his message, his heart, his intelligence and his ability to create such sick bars to express himself.
I've watched other reaction videos and pretty much all they say is, "Wow, this shit is dope" and although yes it is, Lol.. I love how Flawdzilla breaks everything down and actually understands the message Tom is trying to convey.
I hate to say it but I think the majority of people are not too intelligent and I truly believe that most of Tom's lyrics go over even some of his own fan's heads.
I just discovered Flawdzilla's channel and I'm hooked.. I've been trying to share links to his videos with the HOG family.

I can’t help but watch each of Tom’s videos maybe a dozen times. Ordinarily I’m not much of a ‘rap fan’ but once in a while a song hooks you no matter what ‘genre’ it’s supposed to be in. This kid amazes me. The lyrics, the imagery, there is SO much meaning built into these songs. That’s one part of it. Then there is this… these are so cinematic I doubt it’s wrong to think of these like we would a movie. They dreamt this up, they wrote it, they (I imagine) storyboarded it, the designed it, the set it, they lit it, they mic’d it, they performed it, they filmed it, they edited it, they mixed it, they released if - just them. A guy and his girl. (Romantic as hell, but….) Who in this day and age can do that?!? It feels as if this is somehow beyond talent. This is the sort of creative talent that people study in universities hundreds of years later. THAT is the feeling I get listening / watching his content.

I have been hitting a wall trying to find the right way to explain how I feel about your reactions, but I think the fact that you hit the nail on almost every one of his bars and usually catch most of the double and triple meanings has a lot to do with it.
I haven't heard anyone break down the broken arm bar so concisely yet, and "The calm seas don't make a skilled sailor, so I thank the heavens for the stormy weather" is not only my favorite Tom bar ever, but something beyond that.
There's a word I want, but M.S has made my mental dictionary fall apart the last couple years, but I'll take a stab at it and say that specific bar rings true on a lot of different levels, all the way to the core.
