This band is insanely good. Will's vocals are beyond words in my opinion.
Dudes breath control is something God like. Name a person who screams or even sings and had a good breath control as him
Travis Ryan and Ben Duerr are the only other two that come to mind. All three of them are my favorite vocalists in metal at the moment.

I've had a herniated disk and I can't imagine how Austin managed to play that, even with injections.
and on top, he's really risking long term damage if he does not get surgery if it is a case where it would be medically indicated. I also had a herniated disc and because the doctors took to long to send me for surgery, I have a partially numbed left foot because the nerve took the damage for too long
Especially with that many kick strokes.
Same here... I'm a drummer too, so I can totally imagine the pain !! But he had nailed it !
Wow what a performance !! The band sounded great and Will is proving everyone wrong who said he couldn’t pull it off live. What a beast. These guys just may be the top deathcore band out there now, or at least in the top three, along with Slaughter to Prevail and Shadow of Intent.
I was one of those people that said they would suck live damn was I wrong. Mad respect for Will after watching the hole show

Was on their concert last week in Oslo 😁 Also got to meet the band. Me and my friends were hanging with Andrew several hours, and he is a really kind guy! 😄 He now carries the Mjølnir my friend made and gave to him 😊
I will definitely go see them again on another tour 😁

I've watched this whole show twice. 2 things stood out. How amazing of a drummer Austin is, there were multiple times the drums alone gave me goosies. And 2, how effortless Will makes these insane vocals look the entire show. I can't get enough of this band right now...

I am not normally into this type of metal. My jam is metalcore and this is a little harsher than i'd go for. BUT, there is something with this EP. I can't tell what it is yet, but it's got hooks in me. I keep coming back and listening again.

You have mentioned many times that reacting to Rammstein would be pointless because you have heard and seen them so often.But I would really love to hear you break down the stage production of one of their live performances like you did here. Pick your video, I'm pretty sure you know all the live videos that are out there.

Lorna Shore has such a strong release. This is one of the solidest EPs I ever heard. Your interview with Adam provide even more insight to this band and their music. Thanks man!

Obviously he has insane growls and tunnel throat but I can’t get over how nasty and crispy his high vocals are. Ima sucker for really high pitched screams it just goes so well with the disgusting lows haha
I agree with you 100%. That was all Will and it was absolutely amazing. I want to see them live soooo badly now. It'll be upon the list of dreams of seeing my favorite bands live to come true no cap!
Man, i just love your reactions, most if the time feel like reactions are often just watching the video and saying "mhmm, yeah, thats cool" but i fell like your background information and the research you do and tell and knowledge about the "technical stuff" make it much interesting, especially when it's about a band really i like. And I find it cool to see that I'm not the only one who's eye begin to tear when i listen to great music ;)

I watched the entire concert if Lorna Shore plays any show within a five hour drive from me I will be going to see them. Will is a beast Lorna Shore struck gold when they picked him up.
Austin is a monster dude..watching his drum play throughs and even his live stuff..its crazy to see how easy it looks to him..even now with the herniated disc
I hope their roadies are as happy to watch them as we all are. :)

as a longtime metalhead, although aware of the fact that we are talking about two genres distant from each other, this EP made me rediscover sensations that I had not felt since the days of Dusk and her embrace by Cradle of Filth.
I was also surprised that Will doesn't use layering tracks to beef up the sound. I was even curious to see whether he would go for the high screams or the low growls live with the opposite as the backing track. Maybe he likes to improvise a bit on which one he's doing? Either way, he pulls it off.
edit: Also I agree that Lorna Shore's song composition is great. Honestly, most death metal/grindcore/etc bands kind of suck at it, which is why I find most of it boring. Like they have all of the technical ability but none of the artistry, it's just 5 minutes of blast beats and guitar wankery. Lorna Shore actually has song structure with builds and drops and catharsis. If you try to make every note staccato, it loses the meaning.
As I've said before, LS is not my usual jam but I think they sound more than fine live. Definitely a performance I wouldn't regret attending.

That was one of my thoughts too how does Adam play these solos almost in the dark. Crazy how tight everthing was and how well they played considering this was only the second show they've played in over a year! I'm considering trying to make the Dallas show even though I'm from California 🤣. Great reaction and breakdown!

Their entire live show is 1 big ass sit-back-and-bang-the-fuck-out brilliance. And damn, it shocked me about his hernia. I hope all goes well for him. They are literally number 1 spot on whatever type of deathcore related stuff I've heard so far. Will and also a great addition for sure!

Seeing Live Videos from my favorite Bands is always a Doublesided Sword, because they almost never Sound as good as ,of course, on CD . But Live Versions are a completely different kind of thing. Lorna Shore however are in that Category in a League of their own. Monsters !!!

Being someone who has had two spinal fusions from jacked discs and nerves I have an absolutely heightened appreciation for this drummers skill and determination to play that fucking insanely with those spinal issues. Anyone who has experienced even an ounce of sciatica pain knows I'm telling the truth

Slaughter To Prevail, Lorna Shore, Upon A Burning Body and Spiritbox all putting out fuckin killer tracks and albums is the only thing keeping 2021 afloat and I'm here for it.
Will Ramos is an incredibly talented vocalist. I have even more respect for him because he is also a good dude and incredibly humble.
Saw them live last week, agreed the guitars weren't loud enough even at the venue I was at, but damn they were amazing. I was skeptical that they could pull it off live but did they ever! Also met Austin he's legit a great dude

Great reaction and breakdown! I echo the others here who’ve suggested breaking down Rammstein live songs. I have a particular interest in this since Rammstein is what ultimately got me into metal in the first place. I’m also liking the black metal influences in this and other bands such as Wintersun, but without the usual black metal lyrical content, which I’m not a fan of. I’m happy to see sub-genres blend into others to create unique and special sounds that are also amazing. I’m happy to be getting into Lorna Shore with you. There’s so much awesome music out there, man; I can only hope to listen to even a little bit of it all.
