Damn man the 550s were the shit. My father's 88 JS550 still runs and he rides it every summer. I got on it once and it's quite a different ride than my SX-R. A little more of a challenge lol.

66 is a little cool? LOL!!! I ride lake Superior almost daily in the summer (june-september) with no wetsuit the warmest it EVER gets is 55 to 60.
