You have a good understanding of minimalism. Some people confuse minimalism with austerity, others with mortuary. I am a functionalist minimalist, everything in my house must serve at least one purpose and serve the purpose in the simplest possible way (Movado clock ) and aesthetically pleasing as a whole. I use minimum number of colors for each space, not more than 3.
I am not afraid of bold colors such as red. We don't have accent color in minimalism

Dear Kooros, very well put. And by the way, my watch is a Movado from the museum series. So I know the spirit that you are talking about:)

thanks a lot. but please tell me ,What to do when you have 2000 books and want to have a minimalist home design with a library in the living room? Is it possible?

Yes, of course, it's possible. Have a closed-door bookshelf, the minimal one. The kind that is easy to access the books when doors are open 🤷🏻‍♀️

Minimalism is a nice idea for the fashion conscious but has a very small market. It is ill suited to the needs of children or the elderly. It is too pure form and inflexible for modern living.

Very interesting perspective. It's always valuable to hear different viewpoints on a style.
