I wasn’t really affected by how the relationship started cause In real life most people will do anything to get info on what happened to their family but I was worried they’ll have a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunication. I’m so glad it wasn’t as I feared and they gave me two better …they actually communicate their feelings and not try to play guess my emotions😌 Andddd ML knew the importance of bodyguard, he wasn’t joking with her safety for anything just that FL had a few weaknesses so she got caught sometimes but she’s smart and resourceful too. Definitely rewatch worthy👍🏽
I agree. I don’t care much about how it all started. Because most of the times, relationships start weirdly and born out of complex needs and requirements. The beginnings don’t matter as much as the fruition. How they move out of their own needs and insecurities into a zone of mutual understanding is the journey one must look into.
It is also interesting to see - not just in this drama, but most that I have seen with a “cold CEO” - how the right woman brings a feeling of tenderness and softness in a man who is too used to conspiracies in his life. Homemade food, a little care…

I love seeing how she slowly feels physically safe with him and initiates contact affectionately. For someone who can't even bear for her best female friend to touch her arm, it's beautiful to see her build trust.
He would constantly touch her without her permission. She just got used to being violated.
*At first i said what woman in her right mind can stoop so low to get the answers she was looking for, but moving forward with the plot you felt like rooting for both him and her given the situation that was happening in their respective families. Hats off to the actors who played their roles so well making us feel involved in the story as if it all happened in reality.*
Very well summarized and exactly how I felt too. I felt the ML really delivered and you can literally see how his personality slowly changed with the FL’s influence. I’ve seen FL in other series so I know she is consistently good in acting and matching her partners. These two actors were quite impressive, only criticism is that sometimes the scenes skipped a bit and then went back so it was out of sync but overall it still made sense. In the end, it was a happy one and I’m glad to have been on this journey because the main couple were really good 👍🏻

This was so good in so many ways. Fresh story and very interesting, with less of the repetitions you see now more often in the modern Chinese minidramas. The characters are more age appropriate to the story and to the level of maturity of the drama, which is refreshing and surprising. Love the FL and ML pairing, he is quite good and so far all the minidramas I saw with him had a new and interesting plot. Both him and the FL worked together well, their chemistry was quite good. All in all, it kept me glued to it. Thank you for uploading it.

The ML always deliver the gangster vibes. He has eyes fr the FL only he kept denying but later admitted. The FL is no pushover she has been thru alot, has many admirers but she fell in love so early and stayed true to the ML. The only green tea was handled very well by the ML he knew how to draw the line without second glance and knew her tricks so he was prepared in advance. Love it. The ML and FL father were bad people but their mother's were angels.
Oh this one was stellar, must watch. Got a FL with a backbone of steel, and a ML that loves her, and will do anything to keep her safe. Chefs kiss! 💋

Watched this because of the main actress (one of my fave short drama actress) and then ended up loving the ML. He didn't have the striking good looking face but oh boy! during the show, I gradually found him very handsome and attractive. Especially because of the way he acts and his voice 🤭🧡 This story is a mature transactional relationship. Good amount of physical contact. Nice real kisses! They suppressed their feelings but their bodies and heart couldn't stop. Like the flow of the story. Love the kitchen scene! 🦋 Love the confession! Love this possessive ML! Love the acting of FL! Definitely rewatchable! 🧡💚😉
If there's one thing I appreciate about the ML, when he said he would protect her, he meant it. He takes every precaution to protect her.

雖然整部戲很完整結束，但好像漏了交代林子軒，我覺得他一直製造與女主的偶遇非常刻意（巧勒！），而且他的眼神中有某種隱瞞，是伏筆還是第二季的梗呢？

In this drama everything is perfect ML is so handsome FL is so beautiful their chemistry just amazing lots of good scenes no toxic plots and mostly important it's a new plot with good storyline and I first watch a short drama where leads don't do one night stand and not get married after their first day meet, they develops feelings for each other admitted and I liked the part most I never seen it in any drama that's I appreciate when ml saw fl is not ready for intimacy he doesn't force her he understand her comfort which make me feel really happy. In other drama ml force and they saw it normal it was too bad. I appreciate some of scenes which is genuinely good😊

Their relationship started rather messy but they eventually worked it out. Chemistry is good and they do turn up the heat in this one. The relationship starts transactional but the approach to the story is quite unique in terms of the family history, why Dad went to jail etc. The plotting is especially interesting.
The Dad went to jail because he made fraudulent loans to save his son, which didn't make sense because his mistress family was rich.

This was adorable, I didn't think that I'll end up liking this one. The FL was desperate to know the truth, I definitely didn't expect ML to fall harder🥺💗This particular actor..I like every drama of his, I am yet to see him in any abusive role. And I like the actress, because in every drama no matter how helpless she is, it always seems like she has an upper hand in the relationship.😂💗It was lovely to see him feeling vulnerable and sad after seeing her with someoneelse and made me happy when he found out that she loved him as well! Their kisses were the best part tho❤Worth rewatching!

Lovely bit of scriptwriting, directing & depth in acting here, 1:22:29 showing vulnerable side to ML & strong character in FL. One of the better dramas!
Love the dark romance, mature love, not being together due to drugged forced etc. I enjoy these seasoned actors taking these roles. 1 thing I do want to mention in this show is that ML's makeup artist finally did not make his face 8 shades lighter than the rest of him. He looks good with this natural look very manly. As always, FL is still one of my fav.
