Duuude !!!!!.... I just looked at the start list for tomorrow's Senior TT and you are on it !!! #55 !!! Congratulations and the best of luck. Enjoy every second of it.
Hope you've enjoyed the fortnight Dave. I've followed your channel & you've been very informative. Unfortunately, I can't get the enthusiasm this eve, due to the more tragic news. I'm sure we all feel the same & our thoughts will be with the lost ones & their families. The TT, is AMAZING & yet also very very sad. All the best to all.
It's terrible but it's beautiful that even in this silly health and safety society there are still people willing to follow their passion and are brave enough to know it could happen to them but do it anyway BEAUTIFUL
Thank you for another cracking vlog! Noticing that Gaz remembers the names much easier after an ice cream and Rob likes his chicks and all of you having a smashing time left me with a big fat smile! Excellent TT coverage from behind the scenes!! Thank you and all the best!!
Thanks so much Dave, for the great insight. This is what it is all about. Best of luck in the senior, must be a thrill to be in! Please be safe and report again when you can.
Thanks for all the coverage Dave. As others have mentioned you are listed as # 55 for tomorrow. Lee Johnsons name is not on the list. I saw he pulled out of the SS race with an eye problem. There are a few other #'s with no rider names beside them. Have a great time out there. Stay safe and kudos for being there as a privateer. Good for you. Best of luck and thanks again.
I have really enjoyed watching all your content and a great insight into what it takes and the passion you and the others have! I hope you get to run tomorrow and have a good run out
Massive respect and I’m in awe of all TT riders who brave the circuit, devastated to hear Roger and Bradley losing their life the family must be broken along with mark Davy and Cesar’s family and friends RIP 😢
4:46 - fwiw, what I found when I had an apparent tight spot on brand new chain, was - on close inspection - the rear sprocket itself was as good as round. However, there was slight out-of-true LATERAL eccentricity. By a millimetre or so. And it was this that was causing the chain to tighten and slacken slightly, not a "vertical" eccentricity (i.e. an elliptical eccentricity). I undid all the bolts on the rear sprocket and tightened them slowly, in a star pattern, much more carefully than when I'd first fitted it. This trued up the sprocket's lateral eccentricity significantly - but it didn't eliminate it entirely. I'm now wondering whether this is actually an inevitable consequence of aluminium rear sprockets, which will deform more than steel ones when torqued up. I'm going to fit a steel one next time, and see if there's any difference.
Loving the stuff on your channel, you can’t buy passion which you have in bucket loads. It’s ok all the fast guys at the front getting all the exposure but remember without those at the back there is no them at the front.
Nice job on the Aprillia - is it Mexico bound next? A tough day again with this evenings tragic news. Hope you get to race tomorrow. Have a safe one if you do.
@@obsession_engineering I really think this evening should be about thoughts to those no longer with us & their loved ones that will be in so much pain, it's unimaginable. Not the TT & bikes, as if nothing has happened today. A father & son no longer with us. Let's show some respect & compassion. As you say, bad timing.
@@obsession_engineering yah I agree but the hub which rotates around the spindle will follow the spindle. I’ve had it happen on my dirt bike. Just thinking as many times both wheels are in the air around that course it may be a possibility. What are the chances of having 2 bent rear sprockets with no lateral wobble?
It doesn't sound crisp does it?! (On further viewing it does sound like a minor glitch)Must be frustrating as Dave said it was not evident in testing before the ferry crossing. Do they have to use a control fuel? Perhaps it wasnt all the electric brains fault, lm sure Dave will elucidate when he finds the culprit.
I've just got to let a lifetimes interest in this event go after the tragic deaths of the father and son sidecar team. Imagine the pain caused to the remaining family and friends. Yes it was their choice but too selfish, no more T.T. for me, my choice, no criticism implied of others.
I'm feeling the same. Having watched it for the past two weeks & every year for many years, tonight I'm numb, no enthusiasm at all. The father & son death today...21 & 56yrs is enough. I feel sick & can't imagine the pain of some families this past few weeks. Imaging losing your husband & son on the same day, so very very sad. Personally I think any TT videos posted today, should only be about their thoughts to lost ones....lives matter & the TT must always come second to lives.
THE best TT coverage - highs and lows, no film crews and photo shoots just a small team doing what they love. Best of luck tomorrow Dave
Agree!

I hope you continue to do this channel, you've got real presence in front of a camera ...and your minions are funny too, you're like a comedy act.
Thanks for these films, have enjoyed them immensely, should be on TV! Go well tomorrow.
Hope you've enjoyed the fortnight Dave.

So glad to see you safe Dave.
Beautiful looking bikes Dave, clean and smart looking.

Congrats on the Twin finish Davey, and best of luck for the Senior today! Will be watching!
Sitting in a truck at 6am in Australia, 2°C, let’s check TH-cam… Ah splendid! Wavey Davey just uploaded a new one 😁
It gets cold there?! Do you bring the spiders inside? If you're cold the spiders are too.
Great content, super interesting to see the real TT guys effort.
Your face says it all ✊🏼🤪 happy Dave! Thats wy we ride! Great video's 👍🏼
Thanks. Thoroughly enjoyed all of your racing and paddock information.
Epic insight , fantastic channel to follow. Best of luck tomorrow, hope you get the chance to do the thing you love most!

Safe steady ride tomorrow.
Great stuff Dave!
All the best for the Senior.
This channel is mega 👍👍
Stay on the throttle but safe in senior tt Dave!

No Mexico for the ape, I've a borrowed bike lined up for that.
My thoughts are with the whole sidecar community tonight
Brilliant
Dave, I wished you posted this video tomorrow.
Many people, including me, just aren't feeling the TT this evening & for obvious reasons.
Fully understand, it's definitely not my best timing.
I can't imagine what the family are going through
Agree, it’s rough to say the least.

Hope you get the chance of 6 laps in the senior Dave, please ride safe if you do.
I've been wondering all week... And since you mentioned charging your airbag. Is there a mandatory requirement to wear one while racing?
Not at TT, but it seemed a good idea to me
Fairly unscripted I guess. Honest, down to Earth thoughts as they happen… well almost. Great posts.
Totally unscripted, just winging it
Really hope you get a break and get out on the Senior 👍
What is the brand of the fairings on the aprilia ?
They're copies of kalex moto 2
@@obsession_engineering and do you know where can i buy them ?
It sounds to me like you have a bent rear axle shaft.
A spindle doesn't rotate so wouldn't give a tight spot during rotation of the wheel, it'd be a constant position issue

Did I hear that miss coming out of goose neck?

Megga that

Indeed.
There is no consolation in this instance.
Horrific.
But people should be free to choose.
It's vital.
Did I hear that miss coming out of goose neck?
Yes, sounded worse than it really felt though
