Thank you for all this. I knew about some of these glitches. I just discovered a glitch which makes it able for you to bypass the 5 point limit in single player mode (even the 20 point limit which usually exists). You just have to go to an arena and when you select lum fight, use both the triangle (cancel) and X buttons.
I just checked out your video on this - nice find! There are a few things in the game you can activate by pressing certain button combinations at certain times, but as far as I'm aware, nobody's found this one before :)
Really neat video! It's so nice to see this game getting some nice content being made for it after so long! Also, similar to 10:09, with these barrels in particular, if you manage to hit it just right you can simply walk through the barrels, no optimise roll needed! It's a lot easier on Electric Final than it is on Pipe Maze however.
Nice, loads of these i didnt know about. Youre missing one big one in Water Canyon. Before you finish the lap, jump into the pool whilst hugging left. The screen will glitch out. If you keep hugging the wall whilst moving forward you'll eventually start the next lap with the camera shifted diagonally. If you keep hugging the left most wall whilst moving forward, youll get into the area before the climable wall with the camera flipped 180 degrees. You cannot climb this cliff due to the glitch, so you need to reach the top by using the purple lums. Moving into section 2 of the course you will need to break open the spring platforms to move forward. The moment you reach the horizontal boost pad, the camera will flip back to normal. Warning, this glitch does not count your race progress so its a good way to come last. Also in Lava Factory you can also clip out of bounds to the right of the moving switch platforms in the lowest floor by standing on them and holding right. Both of these are very easy to do.
The Optimise button - you can see what it's set to in options -> controls, on PlayStation the default is triangle. Mashing it when you go over boosts makes you go much faster :)
Sad to realize that most of the lapskips here are not possible on the PC version - can't hoverstall there since they limited hovers to 5 times per jump.
I must have a "patched" copy of the game. Textures look different, and the hatch secrets don't work. The sound file plays when opening the hatch, yet the hatch doesn't open.
There are a lot of different versions of this game! If you have any game with the name 'Rayman Arena' instead of Rayman M, a lot of these glitches will be missing as they were patched out before the Arena versions were released. If you have the PC version of M, it will also be missing a number of these (although not as many).
Probably not. GCN/Xbox versions of the game are very different to the PS2/PC versions - sometimes the maps are just completely remade. Even the ones that are fairly similar tend to have a few differences, and I think this shortcut is one of them.

Yo, think you can help me with this? I 100% Rayman M a long time ago, but for some reason Dawnsand is the ONLY level I got 4 extra lums instead of 5: I think one is specifically missing in the ps2 version of the game
I never actually 100%'d the game in terms of getting every lum! I just got enough lums to pass on my playthroughs. If it is hidden somewhere, it will either be in the shortcut shown at 3:07 in the video, or up on the platform I jump to at 3:23. If it's not at either of those I suspect it doesn't exist!
@@CaptainMeme Yeah, I can confirm it's in neither location: I saw in other versions there should be one lum on the cliff you reach with the first bounce pad (3:23). So I'm not sure if it got deleted or moved somewhere else when the game got ported on ps2: I may use the glitches you showed in the video to explore the out of bounds areas in an attempt to find it
6) had that happen to me before by accident. 24) i remembered this one😆 all the AI were stuck I remember there was a glitch in battle mode, a graveyard map, where i fell out of bounds when i step in the grave to get the item a few times. Easy win for capture the fly🤣 And i realise razorbeard shoots faster than others

Favourite PS2 game. I tried emulating this on the PS3, but an error occured. So sad I will never be able to play this again

How do you get that dust behind your character when you’re on one of those blue speed boosters? If I run with rayman over it there is no dust
