    I'm watching this before my interview. I have a personal question..
    I am a recent graduate of interior design. I only have one summer intern experience during 2019 (And it was more of an architecture assistant job so I didn't do real projects) would it be difficult to get a job with this history? I've been applying for junior design and just internships but I'm not getting a lot of feedback. what's your thought of advice? It would help to hear from someone with more experience...

      I hope your interview went great! I don't think it should pose a problem considering you got your bachelors in interior design. If anything I think that is great experience you got from being an architecture assistant. I would keep trying and make sure to tailor your resume/portfolio to what they are looking for. Also, don't feel pressure or compelled to get that "perfect" deign job right after college, keep your options open. There are many different design jobs you can get and companies willing to train. Perhaps looking into working for kitchen cabinetry vendors, furniture companies, tile shops. Something to think about =)

      I recorded on each side of the screen and then put them together and cropped. I hope that made sense!

      I am also from India. If you learn Interior Design in India college will teach us that's applicable in India only. Based on little research i did get to know about this. If you really want get job in Abroad you should atleast do certificate progragrams or an AAS degree in Interior design(Assosiate of Applied Science in Interior Design) by doing this you can able to learn what their country does when it comes to Interior Design. Hope this helps you

      same kind of rules apply except They might ask more questions about the projects you had done in school, software levels, how you deal with stress, and might ask about any other jobs you might have had.

    Do you have any tips what kind of question to ask?

    • @SandraJessicaChavez
      @SandraJessicaChavez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      You can ask about the company’s design process, what are top skills to have for this position, you can turn it around and ask them what they enjoy most about their job, etc. Think of questions you are genuinely interested in! Hope that’s helped!
