Trent has a different role under slot. He does not go forward/overlap that much, even less than the LB. But defensively he is doing great. Saying that he doesn't have the same number as previous season is not good analysis. How many assist or goals does other RBs on your list have? Not saying he definately deserves to be on the list but it shows that trent's role has changed and he still adapted really well.
Mo Salah is the most overlooked indeed. It's actually insane that we are watching greatness before our eyes and yet because people hate Liverpool, they won't give him his respect. I'm not a Liverpool fan but I absolutely love the guy, he's incredible the things he's doing. Tribalism is understandable in football but my god some people really will do the mental gymnastics to try and discredit Salah, just enjoy the greatness and appreciate it because the Prem will miss him when he is no longer playing in the league.

Onana is probably the most honest pick here. Despite all the ridicule he faces, he has been solid this season, and, I would say, last season too. I would give Verbruggen an honorary mention as well. Trent had to be there, in my opinion, even if we put a higher standard for him. Objectively, he has been more consistent than all other RBs this season. He hasn't been getting those assists lately, but other RBs haven't either. He is still a key player for Liverpool going forward, all this aside from being solid defensively.

I have always seen still now that other than liverpool fans they don't give salah credit for what he has done, they always overlook him but guess what we liverpool fans know he is priceless to us. For LW, Ndiaye at Everton has really impressed me. Not got great output, but I think his underlying numbers have been good & he's really carrying the bulk of Evertons creativity from open play. Also just a really exciting player to watch.
I usually like your takes, but Onana being there is not one of them. Not making mistakes does not mean good. And ha has made mistakes, he was horrendous against Liverpool for example and he keeps making positioning mistakes and failing to save shots he should save. Nowhere near the top3 of GK. The reason you and some other Man Utd fans think he's been good is because he hasn't been too bad compared to last season. But he still isn't good.

From a Liverpool fan here. I still think Luiz Diaz must add more to his number on goal assist. He must learn how to cross or set his teammates for a goal as well. If he start to do that, he will be a complete player.
