Bring back groove templates and more granular effects for sound design. Overal cubase is very ahead of time but some things very behind.

I don't get why the midi is set out in consecutive order like that?

It is output sequentially in MIDI as a direct relation to the pad assignment in Groove Agent. There is no reason to skip pads to fit a scale.

Unfortunately, Groove Agent is unscalable, like all instruments and plugs by Steinberg. 2023... Even NI Kontakt did it)

Cubase is the mostest! I wish I had not upgraded to 12. I have a 5T drive filled with 32 bit material. All of it useless. So, either that 5T+ is useless or Cubase 12 is useless.
Do your due diligence. Don't buy something you'll never use, but cry over daily.

What exactly is your 32bit material? Are they projects or projects with 32bit plug-ins? Projects from SX 1 can still be loaded into version 12. Cubase does not run 32bit plug-ins for many years but still allows wrappers to work. Also, your previous Cubase should still be valid.
