Watching with my little boy Luca, who was born just 2 weeks after Alfie. Every weeknight we sit and watch together and his eyes are glued to the TV. hey tom, if you want you can buy a practice ring for your board if you dont install the wooden case. the ring adds a big piece of foam around the board to protect the wall, the floor and the darts. its a win, win

Started watching the vlog this morning before going out for lunch, only got 5 minutes in. The place I went to had tuna mayo jacket potato on the menu, and if it wasn't for the vlog I would've ordered something else. Was not disappointed with my choice, tuna mayo jackets are so good!
For the furture when re-upholstering, and it's just an idea, but it seems like it would be best to keep all 3 boards together when gluing the pages on, then make one long cut along the 2 seams after you've put all the pages on the whole thing, that way, even if the cut isn't perfect, atleast it would be uniform across all the pages. As for adhesion, I like your idea of spray glue and just stick em on.
helpful fact for you tom, if you keep the ash and dip a screwed up ball of newspaper into a tiny bit of water then the ash. scrub the fire door glass and just keep going. WIll be like brand new :)
Tom I’m a painter and decorator and you’d be safer using ur roller and tray to apply the paste onto the mdf then just stick one piece down one at a time the paste lasts a good bit of time before it goes dry

It might be worth getting some mats you can chuck down in case one of the darts doesn't land right and chips your lovely flooring mate. Seen it happen before and would be a nightmare replacing the odd tiles haha.
Jacket potatoes are taking over at the mo! I live in Tamworth - Staffordshire and we have the Spud Man who has gone viral. I love his spuds, jacket potato with cheese & beans for me! However, I don’t want to be captured & broadcast on TikTok etc and the queues are now insane so I’ve not had one for a while and I’m craving 1😫 & Alfie’s smile always makes me smile, as much as it’s horrible seeing him cry… he has the most adorable sad face!x
You should have primed the MDF before painting it with emulsion. It may be prone to peeling, cracking or blistering. And you should have at least keyed the surface with some sandpaper.

After hearing you recommend this book, I asked for this as a Christmas present. Read it in two nights and loved it. Funny how one of the things that stuck with me was "Use your hands". I recently took up a new project and am finally doing something creative and handmaking stuff. Seems like you're doing the same with the wallpaper.
i love the creativity of using the books as wallpaper it really looks amazing and is something unique i would definitely do this in my home just a future recommendation if you get a different style guillotine you can just cut the spine off the books in one go i used to do this at my old work for a office supply store here in the states they would cut the spine off the books and then we would replace the spine with a different style binding did a lot of cook books and big business printed proposals an depending on what the customer would want we could do several different types of bindings i honestly mess that cutter is was truly amazing piece of equipment and very precise not complicated and would hold the book so you could take off just what you needed however the very best method is the way you did this as you don’t lose as much of the page you’re able to cut off much less however the other method is very quick and easy so keep it in mind if you got a big area to do with a lot of books this will save you time and give you very good precision i also believe that most office supply stores that offer binding services will just cut the spine off for you at no charge i could be wrong about the no cost part as it’s been years since i worked in this area but i can’t see it costing much of anything because it’s so easy to do so if you’re not in possession of proper cutting equipment then you have an option so you don’t have to buy the stuff
Iv been wanting to refinish my solid wood tv unit for years pretty much since I got it and I’m now putting it on my to do list to do before I move (which will be within the next couple of months) so here’s to getting s**t done! cant believe how perfectly the spotlight in the ceiling lines up with the board! should get yourself a darts mat for the floor though they are great for stopping the sound of falling darts even if you aren't too bothered about the floor being damaged. best $50 you'll spend to save complaints and stay in those good books

Tom definitely get a mat for the dartboard not just to protect the tiles but also the darts and get some tungsten darts aswell 90% or more they will be a huge help to improving.
I’m so jealous! I love to play darts! I used to enter tournaments and win all the time. This was always at bars though and I can’t drink anymore because I take so much medication after having brain cancer. My last tournament was over 10 years ago.
