U know I guess Kiyo's poker face is the reason many fans love him So I guess "That should do it" fits great As to anime fans, kiyo is a boy who became a genius sacrificing his emotions😅
As always anime is trash, we know the shinohora hate in the community but I was happy my boy ike got a girlfriend but alas ike also reduced to npc. Hirata reduced to a gay simp
At this point, I can only say one thing with absolute certainty that *"If it's about disappointing the fans and ruining the source material, always bet on COTE anime adaptation"*
Fr!!! They are just trying to make him cold hearted so the audience will enjoy... But they are just completely missing the essence of the novel... It's not about a cold hearted devil as they are trying to portray!
Thanks for cut content. As anime only I really like the adaptation, but it is sad that in anime they skip all the Kiyo inner thoughs, his growth and goals and just try to portrait him as some edgy sociopath. That said, can’t wait for next ep to see what will be the result of the last special exam.
I wanna say that in Light Novel the growth was both ways. Ayankoji learns how to be natural and normal while teaching his classmates how to be better. While in the anime Ayanokoji is just shown as a god who is perfect and doesn't need any development.
Yeah and that leads to the majority of the fanbase being so fucking unbearable. They sound like 12 year olds that probably support Andrew Tate or something. 💀
@@nahsiongoetre6874what's good about Tate? He's an arrogant douchebag who needs therapy. He thinks the whole world is rounding on him and still acts like a 12 years old edgelord. Yeah dude, same feelings here. Before the episode even started I was expecting that panel to show up at some point in the episode where koji and hirata were sitting together and koji consoling hirata. Hirata is one of the very very few people whom koji deep down cares a lot. And those anime adapting clowns are hell bent on making ayanogod a sociopathic douche bag. This is just frustrating.
That should do it. But in all honesty when I heard there was gonna be 13 episodes of season 3 I knew a lot of stuff is going to be cut including the dialogue. It's a shame really, dispite me liking edgier ayanakoji, maybe that's just me.
Since the anime is trying to make him for cold hearted does that mean the end of season 1 where he says he never considered Horikita a friend also majorly different?
@@BaselessUpen Lmao. As this point it can become a meme 😂 Btw you said in a previous episode that Koenji didn't fight a boar, but as I've seen some spoilers of the LN, it seems like he did no diff a boar
Cote is about different characters And their ideology how they effect kiyo as a whole not bec of kiyo becoming gigachad and manipulating everyone i am also disappointed with this adaptation very much should been better if not best
I definitely understand what you are saying and I agree to some extent, however a lot of my anime only friends love this series and quite like the "That should do it" lines, it always gets a big reaction. I also partially agree with kiyo treating people like this to an extent as that is who he is. As stated at the end of season 1 and during year 1 volume 3. He uses people as tools nothing else. There were some points in the ln that i felt kiyo had driven away from that and become more human too quickly. What I am trying to say is, the ln makes him too human at times where as the anime makes him too robotic at time. I think a balance between the two makes more sense from a story perspective. Just want to add that kiyo still sees people as tools a lot of the time and even says there are a lot of similarities between himself and his father in second year volume 3 and I like that aspect a lot.
I mean with the current events of Y2 Kiyo is more and more edgier every single time in these new volumes mostly on his monologues comparing it to Y1 and even if he has some genuine and nice monologues you still need ask yourself "ARE THEY ACTUALLY GENUINE?" or is he just tricking us readers again that's why it doesn't matter if the anime skips them it's true to his character.
@@martinhoDKB Yeah I agree with this, Kiyo is known for being a false narrator, I personally am not convinced when he says things like he wants someone to see him cry etc. I think kiyo is more robotic that some people think. Which makes sense given the environment he has grown up in.
@relic1541 exactly Kiyo is not an honest person to himself and that's why it makes him a false narrator to trick not just characters in there but as readers as well this is why you should never trust his monologues no matter if they are genuine or edgy, ACTIONS SPEAKS LOUDER THEN WORDS OR THOUGHTS.
@HallikTruce1111 Yeah I definitely understand what you mean, in the anime sometimes the exams don't make 100% sense because they gloss over the rules but in the ln they explain it too much a lot of the time. Especially seeing how he always says he runs out of pages in his postscript, he probably could save some by removing the unnecessary explanations.
I understand why the Ln fans are pissed but in the same time it's an anime adaptation made for more people than just the Ln the anime onlys want to see ayanokoji as a cold heartless robot because that's what they're used to tbh I wouldn't have minded if they did develop his character more but yeah LN ayanokoji is a human manga ayanokoji is a comedy Anime is a robot lol
If I wanted anything about COTE to change it would be Haruka's arc in Y2 after [it happened]. Haruka was the perfect character to show Ayanokoji the power that relationships, emotions and bonds have on a person, and should have had a larger impact than "silly maild outfits".
Bro if the anime adapted that line. It would take away from kiyo character. They are portraying him as cold mofo. Him saying things “I want a friendship where I could shed tears” is hella corny. Wtf. Bro looks at the last few episodes in the anime they are trying to play him off as heartless and cold. Not some whomp who sits on the bench comforting someone Tf. That makes him look weak
I literally had a talk with my friend about the LN and their sentiments were oh he has emotions eww and I just gave up at that point because the anime has ruined what Ayanokoji's character is supposed to be and its never going to change unless they suddenly decide to end a season by doing a reveal that oh he actually cares second plot twist wowww and even then I'll just facepalm and move on because his character is still ruined
@@BaselessUpen For real why should anime onlys have to know of Ayanokoji as an edgelord MC when the LN could have been adapted properly with a three dimensional Ayanokoji like does it really make sense to take something that is peak fiction and make it less peak
well 86 and emminence in shadow can be adapted line by line as they have actions every now and then.if cote had been done line by line, it would have never earned money and would have been incredibly boring just seeing inner thoughts and backstories plus people would have ledft the series at season 2 . the reason the studio is rushing is because they want the peak action that is in year 2. the main reason season 2 was so hyped was because of the fight scene. just think would the same hype have happened if it was just ayano catching sakuras stalker@@BaselessUpen
@@BaselessUpen you have to also think of the business point of view. Cant just look at one aspect. The biggest thing of light novel is that you get a big chunk of story at a single time while in anime you have to wait for each and single episode.
