in my opinion King George whiting are the most over rated fish, silver whiting and yellowfin are much more sweater and under rated compared to KG whiting
@@FishTuckerMan In SA we are not aloud to catch snapper for 3 years. Its a good thing to grow numbers. I am one of the lucky 600 that was chosen for 5 snapper tags for the year. Tags allows me to catch 5 snapper to keep and eat.
Only 2 hours of sleep and some hard morning fishing would have put me to sleep before I could prep the meal. Great morning out there Dom. So nice to surf fish on those beautiful fish. No herring wasted on this meal buddy. Yummy as usual.
That Snapper looks exactly like what we would call a Jolt Head Porgy. I love pouring lemon on the fish while they're cooking hot. The best way to do it.
our snapper are in the porgie family, the same family as all the pinfish and sea bream ect, they look similar when small but nothing alike when they get bigger
I was thinking when you were saying about the best whiting baits that pipi was right up there for best whiting bait, and bream also.Then Billy handed you one a couple of minutes later. Probably why the whiting where hanging on that corner.
Was using pilchards at first and caught some herrimg, then used small fish pieces on size4 long shank hooks for the whiting. I didnt use lures this day hopefully Ill do soon

Over here in WA its rare to use pipis for bait cause they go for anytjing here and also we dont get the big Pipis like the East coast do 👍

Its a good simple pan fry recioe, cant go wrong. Them bush chooks..hard to ignore 😁👍
