Cam Ward should be #1 on the Heisman list, he walked into the swamp and straight destroyed the Gators. It was the best performance and win. Cam is so fun to watch 🔥
@FireV0l-h1t even when the Gators are bad how often do you see them get run out of their own stadium? People should remember Miami was playing their first game aswell, they will continue to improve week by week.
Really good, interesting to see some of the opportunities that were there that you don't see real time. Seems like the offense still has another gear once he gets more games under his belt
This guy (Ward) has Mahomes/Hurts vibes about him. He also has James vibes about him. His decision making is questionable at times...but Jesus...he's exciting...
There’s definitely things to like about Cam Ward, but I can understand why some NFL OC’s/ evaluators are annoyed of some aspects of his game of not staying in pocket and ripping to clear open receivers all the time.
@@Canesontop very dangerous and it cost him early in the game. It only works if the guy is wide open otherwise you shouldn't try it. Trying to play hero ball will cost us. Cam is a gunslinger and feels like he can make every throw. But honestly he shouldn't have had an interception in that game.
I'm a long time Cane fan. One game and he's the best in the country? LOL. Man, let's see how it plays out. He played just like this at Washington State and nobody was saying that. WS was horrible but he thew for almost 7000 yards and accounted for 61 TDs in two years yet no "best in the country" came from it. His numbers won't be better than what he's already done. I guess now all the other QBs in the country just automatically became worse? Cam didn't get better he just has a better team around him. His talent has been there for years.
I don't do this for a living....just for fun (break down tape). I am a complete novice....so maybe I don't know enough to know how much I don't know. Buuuuut....I disagree with you. I think Ewers is better. I cannot tell if Ward will be a good pro or not. I don't have enough evidence or examples of pro style plays to analyze his abilities. What I am looking at is timing plays. 3, 5 or 7 step drops where the ball then comes out within a second or two. Plays where they are hitting guys right away. Plays where he's reading the defense and can throw to a spot. I'm also looking to see, during these timing plays, whether they (the QBs) are throwing before the WR makes their break. If they're trusting the play and have worked on the timing of the routes with their WRs. Let's face it, in the NFL guys are not open like we see them in college. These big plays in college are often results of the WR's getting open and the O-line having the ability to maintain a clean pocket for way longer than you'll ever see at the next level. Those plays are rare in the NFL. You don't often see QBs scrambling around waiting for their WRs to get open. They complete plays by throwing with timing and hitting guys in stride. That's another things I look at with these college kids. Not just was it complete...but did they hit their WR in stride. In the NFL the CBs are right on these WRs most of the time....if you aren't hitting your WR in stride, it's either incomplete, picked, or batted down. It's also hard to see if their ability to run, as a QB, will translate. The thing in the NFL is that the defensive players hold their lane integrity a lot more consistently than college kids do. In college these defenses break down regularly. I look to see if they are able to make run plays with simple effective jukes and for them to not take chances of taking big hits. Big hits by college kids may not bother these QBs....but an NFL linebacker hitting you can end a career or knock you out for the season. So, when I am trying to see if a kid might be a good pro....I'm looking to see if he does well on timing routes. Can he throw a back corner fade in the EZ? Can he throw a deep down and out, releasing before the WR makes his break. All these, basically, broken plays where the QB sit in the pocket for more than 3 seconds....as they wait for a WR to break free....I don't even consider those plays, because they don't happen enough in the NFl for that to be part of their evaluation. You would hope that every college QB prospect can hit a wide open receiver. Just my two cents...for what it's worth.
It's going to be so fun seeing how stupid this video (and all the Cam Ward hype) is in 2 months. We (UF) are horrible. He was pressured once the entire game and threw a pick.

@@Kenny-qg9gc I definitely agree👍🏾
The gators are way worse then Vanderbilt ranked dead last in sec RN

Murray was Elite at UGA .. Great analysis on Cam Ward
Thanks!
All praise to the most high Yahawah and his son Yahawashi and the holy spirt which is wisdom, knowledgeable and understanding🤴🏽🦁🐑👑⌛️🔥🛸
Great analysis. I think Cam has the it factor.
Agreed!
Hey Aaron! Thanks for the kind words! Go Canes! Go Dawgs!
Of course!

Nice break down.

Say it again for us! Cam award da BEST QB IN THE NATION!!!
He reminds me of a Donovan McNabb just unbothered like he playing NCAA 25
I love your take of Cam Ward especially as a canes fan but what about shedure Sanders? He balled out as well
I have that breakdown on the channel. Go check it out
New fan here. I like your POV.
New Fan here!! Go Canes. I was at the game.
What do you think about Cam throwing across his body?
I held my breath every time

Felt like the 1st and 2nd down were not efficient but we made a lot of big plays on 3rd. Good to see there was opportunities on those downs.
Thanks!
Thank you!
He going top 5 🔒
Billy Napier makes the opposing side look good.
The Nfl people didnt like the auburn bo nix too good but he go to the ducks 1 round qb now he gonna start for denver. stop the cam hate!!!
yes, he is.
Best quarterback in college football....
If cam ward plays well enough to het invited to the heisman ceremony Miami will be playing Georgia or OSU in the college football championship game!
The U IS COMING!

I’m a gator fan but our defense is dog shit, don’t get too hyped over one game. Anyone with a fast d line will control him.
AM this UF defense returned 8 starters from a defense that ranked 13th out of 14 schools in the SEC in every major category.
Who's the best quarterback at University of Miami since Ken Dorsey
HEISMAN
He's pretty good, but he ain't Primes son.... regardless of the media hate!!!

Well, how come NFL evaluators don't love him?
Scouts loved Trey Lance and SF thought he was so valuable they gave up 3 1st RD picks for him, he's the worst NFL QB i have ever seen.
Who said that. He just didn't win enough and evaluators said he needed more polish and success. He turned 22 a few months ago.
@Kenny-qg9gc There's a reason he went back to college. He didn't get a 1st or 2nd round grade from scouts. He will this year though
1 game ⁉️😳😳😳
Dont trust him for NFL

Miami has one of the best O-Lines in the country, so that also plays a part, but yeah Florida is ass.
He also did the same thing in the first drive to restrepo. Spun left, drifted left, and threw across his body to the 40 and hit X.

Your videos are impossible to watch. Play the play in real time then go back and analyze. The stop start rewind start is quite annoying.
