this is why the game so appealing. the way you play is what you yourself discover. i myself have my playstyle around bai yi since i somehow got 3 of her, so the leader skill that recharge energy pretty much guarantee consistent break and burst from her. plus that movement regen really makes panic switch not so punishing lol.
All of this highlights how diverse the game system really is. 80% of the Discord and Reddit want to do the faceroll version with high DPS and supports, but few or no tanks. I'm having a great time with the "tanks protect Summer's death zone" version myself, but I also like to use an Umbra or two (which means I have an extra mobility element compared to yours). "Cat-Tank Girl" is good for that style, too. In any case, it's great how the game balance gives you such a wide variety of options.

I wonder how viable it is for higher levels in Broken Frontline, but you can basically play however you want in this game and I find that really appealing. I beat chapter 8 with the full squad 10 levels bellow the recommended. It took some tries but it feels great to have the chance to strategize instead of facerolling everything.

Im very curious to test deamon with more shield units, his shields for allies scale with his shield, so units that give aoe shields could be interesting. Also at 1 shackle deamon deals dmg based on his shield

By the way with summer shackle she gets 2 more canon with the already 2 existing ones one that come with her and other with ultimate so i think once she is shackle 5 with enough time to deploy all canon she theoretically hits 5time.
I hope someone confirm this if they had her maxed out.
Your strategy is cool but if you have few tank enemies with 2/3 dots to break then you probably need to have one more character to break I think. I use three range units (Summer, Hecate & EMP) Zoya tank/DPS, Bai break/DPS and k.k. It depends on the difficulty of this stage, I might replace Hecate with a defender or healer. Can't wait until I get Nox then he can replace my defender or Hecate. I do have Langley but due to short resources I decided not build her atm and focus on my main team
That is what the captain's skill is for. Btw that Hecate and EMP you don't need anyone else. In fact there is very few times I even need Hecate out there at all. EMP and the Captain is enough because its not an immediate need to break. Or the target is already dead.

Demon is good at base with no dupes. I would say he is better than K and Peggy.
@@danelmore6553 Not at base they aren't. Once they get more dupes yes. But fully shackled EMP and Laby outperform them. Don't let that base copium get you. People are showing that all over TH-cam right now. Denying it is just being a meta slave. Don't be one of those guys.
Well i would say its situational, id say bai yi and demon are way more versatile, ofc in a lot of istances some abilities fits perfect for other characters, but if i have to build a general team the most versatile wins
