You bring up a lot of great points. I don't think I have ever not thought of my irons going anything other than 1 distance. The point you made about not using a range finder resonates with me. I now just use gps front middle and back to make my club decision. Good video overall and I hope you make more. Side questions. What indoor system are you using?
If every golfer used even basic front middle back yardage data they would naturally make better club choice decisions. I have a uneekor launch monitor in my studio. I also use trackman and flightscope on range and course. Thanks for the comments and questions!
You shouldn't just rely on studio data as it is the most controlled environment you can be in. Highly suggest doing this over multiple days in various conditions. On grass, studio, cooler weather, warmer weather (in a perfect world).
I'm in the 99..9% and would never think of my irons going in a zone. This makes so much sense. Thank you!
This is great insight. I’m going to be getting these numbers at my club this week. You have a great swing with beautiful tempo by the way.

Do you think getting the distances in a simulator gives you true yardages?
