- You know when you accidentally leave a name tag or sticker on your shirt and then it goes through the wash? it leaves a sticky residue that is so hard to get off. I'm going to show you the easiest way to get it off. #shorts
Great video! To those who it didn’t work for-For stickers that don’t come up well with rubbing alcohol, level up to pure acetone. Same concept in how it dissolves bonds but it does so at a much more concentrated level. Just be careful on certain color treated areas (def test first as acetone can pull up some dyes)
Thank you! You saved me from buying more school uniforms ❤
Thank you for keeping it short and simple!!!
I appreciate the brevity of your video.
Shout out to this lady who just saved my CLOTH SOFA after my kids squeezed that tube balloon stuff from back in the day (b'loonies) on a cushion....it was red......left a super light stain, but IT WORKED AND ITS OFF. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Omigosh thank you thank you! You saved one of my favorite blouses!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😊
You are so welcome!
Worked perfectly! Thank you!!
Brilliant! Worked like a charm. Thank you!
Or you can from my experience from synthetic clothing take a ice cube grave a tooth brush (electric preferably) and just scrub the stain out hold the ice on the other side of the stain so the water can come through while you are scrubbing your welcome 😊
You literally saved my life!!! Thanks ❤
Thank you it worked! Used a small razor blade to shave off the last few stubborn spots
I have use rubbing alcohol for so many things like this! Amazing yet great stuff! Nice share👍
Thank you so much 👍
@CleanFreakGermaphobe hi would this damage polyester clothing. I did put it in the dryer. The stickers look so weird. I hope alcohol helps get rid of stickers as this t-shirt costs 70$ which it's expensive,
I've never heard this before! I tried it and it worked like a charm! Thanks!
Bless your heart, it worked!
This works! Thank you
You're welcome!
Thank you for short video! Short & informative! 10/10
Thank you very much!!!!❤
I just have clean the shorts of very sensitive material! It is 100% cleaned!
Isopropyl, great sugestion!!
😮 I will try this today! Yay!!!! ❤🎉😊
I just tried it and it worked like a charm! Thank you ❤
Works perfectly. Thank you so much 😁👍🏻
Thank you for this information. I just saved a shirt of my daughters, have another one I will be trying it on as soon as it gets out of the wash, and I’m sure several future shirts as well 🙌🏼 you’re my hero 😂
A million thanks ! I had got a plushie toy and the gum was on the black fabric part 😢. This hack helped me a lot ! 🎉🎉
Got to try.thanks again
This really help and work thank you so much
Worked like a charm!
Everything about your video is perfect you are a beautiful person and I like you
Thank you! I accidentally washed a bathing suit with the sanitary sticker and it was a nasty mess but this got it out!
So glad it was helpful😀
It really works! 😊
if you don't have rubbing alcohol, you can also use hand sanitiser as well.
Didn't work on my polyester/rayon/spandex shirt. The texture is permanently changed, but the sticky is still there - didn't help dissolve the sticky at all. Shirt is ruined.
Worked on a fleecy shirt with a many times washed name tag on it!
Really? Wow! Gotta try this! Don't know how many times there's residue left on new clothing after removing the size sticker... 👖🙄👚 Thank you!
Also going to share this tip with laundry at my plant, always complaining about this issue...
So happy this could help😄
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe I do have a question if you don't mind me asking? Any tips on how to get Neosporin out of clothes?
It worked! Left a name tag on a polyester top. 100% like new!💜
The polyester top was not harmed?
Yuck polyester is horrible nasty fabric. Is made from petroleum.
Thank you
Kerosine, aka white spirits, aka oil paint thinner, or WD40 dabbed in a paper towel, and rubbed or brushed on the glue will dissolve it. Squeeze with clean side of paper towel to wipe off / absorb the dissolved glue in about 15 seconds. Hand rub spot immediately with normal laundry detergent and wash off before laundering normally. Do not use strong solvents like acetone, which will destroy any garment with a synthetic content (most garments).
It worked Tysm I thought my mom was gonna kill me lol 😂
Same!!! Mine was $80!!
It didn't work for a while but after I scrubbed it for 15 minutes it worked.
It worked 😊!!!
Great it saved me ... Tnx 🎉
Thankyou problem solve
thank you. i dont have alcohol but have my perfume and its work.
Will hand sanitizer work instead of rubbing alcohol
Thank you 🙏🏾
Great video! Is it necessary to rewash the garment after you scrape it off. This has happened to me enough times to wonder if the residue is only where it collected the blob, I always feel that my shirt and the clothes in the load with the sticker come out feeling sticky? Is it possible the sticker gives a stickiness to everything else even if you can only see it on the garment that was the problem?
It wont stain the shirt? I drop a glob of construction glue on my new disney hoodie. This can work?
will this work on faux leather?
Does it stain? Like the rubbing alcohol
does spirit work?
Thank you!! Didn’t know it was this easy☠️
Didn’t work for me. I used shampoo and my fingernails to remove it.
just a few seconds? maybe it depends on the material, I tried and this did almost nothing
What about green alcohol?
Does this hack work with duct tape residue that’s left on fabric?
It worked 🎉
Omg it worked 🤯
Woul it fade a black t?
No it won’t!
Do this work for gum lefts
Is this okay to do on a Spf 50 water shirt too?
Yess thank you it worked!!
Hopefully this works last week police we giving out stickers and I frogot to take mine off before washing it😢
Didn't work AT all even with pouring alcohol again and scrubbing with a washcloth. 😂😂 Hot water and oxyclean and stain remover scrubbed with a toothbrush worked great
Didn't work for my shirt☹
Mine neither
Isopropyl or isopropanol should work!!
Not just alcohol!!! It will work!
I tried on very delicate textile, with ice, but didn't work. With isopropyl and soft brush 100% succesfull!!!
Does not work for duct tape residue just spreads it
Let's try it
Was really hoping this would work, oh well
Im a student and my frnds stick a gum on my pants...and thsi short helped me so thankyou for your help 😢❤
It didn’t work for me
does it fade color?
Didn't on my shirts
thanks@@CleanFreakGermaphobe
Didn't work at all. I ended up pouring it on and using a sharp knife to scrape it...still no joy!
Or lemon dotara

Will the alcohol leave a smell afterwards?
If u wash it it will go away
The alcohol odor would usually dissipate.
Do you succeed with chewing gum?
Use ice for chewing gums
Any substitute for Isopropyl Alcohol?
I have successfully used white vinegar. Required a couple of applications. i scrubbed it off with a fingernail and wiped off the rolled up residue pieces with a microfiber cloth
😂
Jesus Loves you ❤️
Took a lot of work and a pair of scissors to scrape it off. Not as easy as video by any means
Thank you so much 🫠 there was even one that stuck and I hadn't even washed it yet 🙃
ME: Let me get some alcohol for your face.
Girlfriend: Why?
ME: 😏
Thank you
Thank you
